Hyatt Place Allentown / Lehigh Valley - Hotel in Allentown - 621 Grange Rd, USA

My family and I stayed here for one night while visiting Dorney Park. Check-in was the easiest I have ever experienced (was able to do it online and get a mobile key). The lobby is very welcoming and there was ample parking. While there, we checked out the gym, which had a peloton as well as treadmills and ellipticals with tv monitors. We didn't use it, but there was also an indoor pool. Our room was quite large. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic, and included cereals, breads, fruit, yogurts, eggs, etc. We would definitely stay here again.

I have not stayed at a cleaner or crisper hotel than this one. Absolutely shocked to learn it was already 3 years old. I would have guessed 3 months. Excellent location near to good shopping and eats. In-hotel restaurant looked exceptional, but a bit too pricey for my tastes. Plenty of options within a mile or so. Will definitely stay here again!

This hotel is super clean and quiet. You would never know it was completely booked, with the exception of breakfast. It was a bit crowded but there were plenty of seats and the staff kept the food coming. ||Had a one bedroom kitchen suite. ||Perfect to separate kids and adults. Even has 2 TVs. Huge bathroom and wonderful kitchen. Also, the gym was above average for a hotel :)

Good location with huge parking lot, easy to park and enter the hotel. Clean room, banch of towels. Amazing breakfast. Easy to check in and check out. Good pool, towels are provided. Nice bar with good local craft beer, and other drinks. Very friendly stuff. We love to stay in Hyatt

Very nice hotel. Close to many places such as restaurant, Target, Walmart and daughters college. Rates are reasonable. Rooms very spacious and multiple amenities. We always stay there when in the Allentown area. As for most hotels parking is sometimes an issue, but overall a good place to stay. Beds very comfortable.

Nice enough room. Decent hotel. Free breakfast for everybody it would seem (absolute crush on Saturday!). Looked like good cocktails at the bar (the locals started early on Friday ... a blue cheese martini, anybody?!) Friendly staff. Not sure where a good location for a hotel in Allentown would be, to he honest... seemed very busy compared to other hotels, so I'd take that as a good sign ...

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here at the Hyatt place. If I could give it more stars i would. The staff were friendly, courteous and so helpful. The hotel is beautiful and well kept. Our hotel room was beautiful and clean. The pool was great. The breakfast was delicious. We loved the variety and the amount of food. The service and hospitality were high class. Omg and the borrowing feature that one could borrow things such as headphones and chargers to board/card games. I seriously could go on and on. We are definitely going to come back to this hotel and other Hyatt places.

I will start with the positive. The front desk staff was very nice and the room was spacious and clean. I did a block for my wedding at this hotel and worked with Jenny and had so many problems. Communication with her was horrible from her attitude when I asked if she had a taxi recommendation to her not answering any of our calls. We eventually communicated with someone higher up, Lynn, who was also very hard to get ahold of. We didn’t get a call back for over a week from her. She eventually helped us out with our block issues, or so we thought. Both of them would tell me one thing on the phone and in person told me another thing. They ended up charging us for rooms and wouldn’t give us keys to. Jenny told us at check in that we would get keys the following day for our guests. The following day she called us a liar and said we’re just being charged for the rooms and don’t get access to them. Why couldn’t she tell us that when we checked in instead of having my family bring all their stuff to the hotel to find out they don’t have a room? And to be called a liar on my wedding day was one of the lowest things someone has done and for someone in hospitality? Wow. Also a benefit to having a block was our room being tidied before returning from our wedding. We came back from our wedding to our room being a mess from getting ready. We had been there 2 days and not once did they make the bed or tidy even though Jenny said they would. Such a disappointment. I would not recommend anyone working with the sales staff or getting a room block especially from this Hyatt where you’ll be charged for any rooms left on your block and not be able to use them yourself. There’s much better hotels in the area.
