Hyatt House Emeryville/San Francisco Bay Area - Hotel in Emeryville - 5800 Shellmound St, USA

This hotel is in a perfect location, across from the Public Market and a block from Bay St shopping/movies (main thoroughfare). The beds are very comfortable, rooms spacious, with kitchens and kitchenettes for convenience. Great all-around ambiance. Our only issue is they need to revamp the breakfast menu; it was just not up to par to our tastes: ultra-thin pancakes, questionable eggs, breakfast potatoes that looked institutional, 1/2 frozen fruit medley. We would still return for everything else and bring our own breakfast grub.

We stayed at the Hyatt House Emeryville for 3 nights in late December. It was just 1 mile away from where our son and family live so the location was perfect. Before check- in we were given the option to upgrade to a bigger room for no cost. We had the separate bedroom with a living room, dining bar and kitchen. The bed was very comfortable, and it was totally quiet.|The staff was super friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast offered just about every choice possible for all ages and appetites. |I would love to stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.

We have stayed here the past 10 yrs for at least 3-4 months/yr. It is an excellent place for a long term stay. Clean, well kept and ideal location. Staff at all levels are incredible. They really care about their guests and their comfort.

Features: Single, double-bed, and suites. Outdoor heated pool and hot tub. Quality complimentary breakfast. We greatly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The pool was great for the kids. The breakfast was pretty extensive. There were definitely options for everyone.

The best suite setup I’ve stayed in! The living room had a large sofa and bedroom was big, with very nice bathroom. Good lighting through, felt like home! Graciela, our main housekeeper, was particularly friendly, courteous and accommodating. We had frequent cleanings during our long stay and always had a clean and cozy home to come back to. The amenities such as free hot daily breakfast, gym and small coworking office were super helpful. The location is perfect within east bay - close to SF, Berkeley and Oakland all at once. Bus 57 can be used from nearby bus stops and takes you to cool parts of Oakland, and trans bay bus takes you easily from here to SF Transit Hub comfortably and quickly. Only improvement i would have liked is to have a real oven and a bit more kitchen amenities, like big bowls, a good knife etc

Side parking lot is dark but plenty of parking spaces. Friendly staff and great kitchen. Breakfast was pretty good…but could use more varieties. Got room with no sofa bed and had to go back down to switch rooms. Tesla charger broken.

Everything was great except there's no safe in the room. Room staff attendant were very friendly and respectful. Location was at center of everything so it's very accessible. Just hope parking is free.

Positive: The hotel is very clean and up to date. They dont charge for parking, which is a plus. Negative: The front desk clerk at check in on the night of December 22nd was deplorable . VERY hostile to the point that we felt she intentionally hit us multiple times with the automated door from her desk. No hospitality, RUDE ! as was the early morning clerk.
