Hy-Vee Grocery Store - Grocery store in Shakopee - 1451 Adams St S, USA

This food store is amazing, you can find absolutely anything, but since they opened I always buy their milk and it makes me gag when i see dirty shelves where milk is standing, super dirty and disgusting looks like no one cleans it. I will attach pictures to see……

Atmosphere is great, selection is great. Service is pretty sub par. They close down self check outs? That defeats the purpose? Prices are consistently 20-30% higher at a minimum. I've seen as high as 80-100% higher prices. It sucks because it's close to me and nice and clean but the cost combined with having to wait in line for a SELF CHECKOUT since they close half of them down pushes me to other stores. Another issue is they have remodeled no less than 5 times in the few years they've been here. Things are sometimes difficult to find, even the employees do not know where certain things are. It makes finding / utilizing their wide selection more difficult since it moves around so much.

Pretty good store. I get grocery pickup so that's very convenient. Cool that Hy-Vee replied. I made an edit. For pickup, I request paper bags, but often plastic are substituted. Further, all of the fresh vegetables and fruits are wrapped in non-compostable bags. My preference is that you select only paper or compostable bags.

I absolutely love Hy-Vee! Their bakery section is great and their bakery counter is even better. Incredible pastries and desserts of all kinds. If you have a sweet tooth be sure to stop in and take a look! You might find it difficult to leave without buying a few things to try.

This hyvee is amazing! They have such a good selection of everything! The prices are great and the products are top quality. Loved the Basin section. I love the concept of shampoo and conditioner bars and trying to use less plastic in day to day life. Wonderful store!! Highly recommend!

HyVee is always a win! The St. Francis Express Care is outstanding!! We've always had fast and exceptional care!!! Yesterday all appointments were booked at the Savage locations. I followed the Kiosk instructions, spoke with a thorough and kind scheduling representative and got appointments for my daughter and I at the Shakopee location. I was really impressed with the care during this exhausting cold / flu season!!

I was a happy customer until recently until they converted over their rewards program, and I could not access my rewards. The customer service desk refused to assist in any meaningful way. They told me that to access the benefits, I would need to make a new account. I did as instructed and then I was told that they would not transfer the rewards. I left, but then returned to try and get the new card removed, and the same girl sat there when I returned and was talking with 2 other employees while on her phone.

I love Hy-Vee. They have a TON of higher quality items compared to other grocery stores. But forewarning, be prepared to spend a pretty penny. Depending what you buy, a cartful will easily set you back at least $200. As an example, I had barely 1/4 of my cart with items and I ended up paying just over $100.
