Hussong's Mexican Cantina - Boca Park - Mexican restaurant in Las Vegas - 740 S Rampart Blvd #7, USA

A party atmosphere was evident as we entered this restaurant. Nice decorations all over, with fun music playing. Kristine was a great server, very friendly, helpful and always attentive to our needs. Nearly all of the food was as good as the service. Everything was served hot and fresh. We took advantage of their half-price enchiladas on Wednesdays, and their 3p - 6p happy hour specials. Both salsas served with their house chips were good, one dark chipotle and one pico de gallo style. The shrimp enchiladas were excellent, the beef enchiladas were good and the pork enchiladas were just ok. The shrimp ceviche tostada was excellent, as were the beef taquitos. The chicken quesadillas were good; served with chipotle sauce, sour cream and pico de gallo. Their pozole was awesome, tons of flavor. The carnitas taco was served with pickled cabbage; very tasty. And getting a few shots of 100% agave tequila during happy hour always makes a fine Mexican meal that much better. They earned all five of my stars!

We got there 30 minutes before close and the staff definitely made sure we knew they closed at 10pm. However, the staff was friendly, relatively fast, the drinks were great and the food was good. My only complaint about my meal was that it wasn't hot. I like my meal to come out hot to touch but seemed as though it had been sitting for a while. Aside from the this place surprised me with how good the food was.

Love this place. Especially happy hour. My husband and I frequent this location quite often. The service is great. All of the staff are nice, but Chase is the friendliest and most attentive bar tender. Highly recommend! I prefer the shrimp tacos, and the hubby loves their quesadillas. Margaritas are a must!! 🤌🤤

Kristine N our waiter was amazing. She checked on us very often. And the food came out hot and ready. Everything was great. Food was delicious. The drinks were ready and fast ordered. Now that it was happy hour. Make sure you check out the happy hour. Definitely got full off only a couple food items. And the drinks came in handy. But she was definitely amazing and wonderful. Definitely will be looking for her again next time.

Omggg! David was absolutely amazing. Reasonable happy hour and every thing on it was so savory and delicious! The drinks was very strong and very decently priced! Will definitely be back

This place is a great place to hang out and enjoy the atmosphere at the very least. Food is really good, drinks are fabulous! Need to try the margaritas! The staff is uniquely great! I felt welcomed the couple times I've gone here and greatly enjoyed my experience both times! Michelle is lovely and Melissa funny!

Can't speak to all the food but the burrito with all three sauces, the tacos and tostda salad were excellent. I loved their different salsas. one is a smoky BBQ flavor. Outdoor seating is available. Very extensive vegan menu by the way.

I was not impressed with anything from Hussong's though the best part was the chips and salsa. I would recommend NOT getting the Bloody Mary, as it tasted like it had old spices and not like any Bloody Mary I've ever drank before. We maybe drank 2 oz. and that was so we didn't waste money but getting through it wasn't going to happen. The guacamole was good but needed more flavor and the chimichanga didn't have a lot of flavor so we added the salsa to it. We had gotten the meal with a side/appetizer, main, and dessert and though a good price for all 3 items, the PB cake was a 2"×2" piece for $7 (as part of the "special"). The new Reese's cupcakes on the market had a lot better flavor. All in all, this is just our experience but if it is your jam or you want to try it for yourself, go for it. I know I will not be going back. I will also personally never recommend it to anyone - but I will warn friends to NOT go there.
