This is such a cool restaurant. You feel like you are about to walk into Grandma's house. The service is excellent. Incredibly friendly. I love the concept of an ever changing menu. It really allows the chef to showcase their skills. The food was fantastic. The appetizer with the beets was hard down the best beet dish I have ever had, and I love beets. The seasonal veggies were great. If you are looking for a taste of a lot of things, great choice. It was just two of us, so between apps and dinner it was a lot of food. Drinks were great too. If Ghost & The Darkness is still on the menu when you go, and you are looking for a drink that transforms the winter holiday season into a taste? It's this one. So delicious! Overall a fantastic experience, from the service to the food to the vibe.
Impeccable and innovative food, amazing atmosphere, and impeccable service. This is the place to go if you want elevated Southern food with creative influence from other cuisines. The building is gorgeous and the interior is upscale yet cozy. Each plate is beautiful and delicious. Service was on par if not better than most Michelin restaurants I’ve been to - the Southern hospitality really shines through. Prices are very reasonable too for the level of food and service you’re getting - this place can easily be a $150/person tasting menu place from a pricing perspective, but they choose the much more approachable a-la-cart style with each entree around $35-$40 and apps around $15. Definitely ask about the Southern Greens! Highly recommend especially for a date night!
Delicious, fresh and innovative! Their menu is constantly changing and locally sourced. The dishes are creative and have combinations that have never tried before. Also, restaurant is a bit further away from the craziness in the downtown area which is very nice. Highly recommend the beef tartare and the pork. The molasses flan was very different form things I’ve tried before so highly recommend it too.
Had a delicious meal on our last night in Nashville! My mom and I sat at the bar table and it was a great spot. Bartenders were very nice and attentive. They gave great recommendations as well. Everything was phenomenal. Love all the locally sourced ingredients. The vegetable plate was the standout for sure. Also, the building that the restaurant is in is gorgeous.
One of the most amazing restaurants I have ever been to. We had Dom as our waiter and he was EXTREMELY accommodating. For starters, we had the pork rinds, pig ears, and biscuits which were to DIE FOR. On the entree I had the pork and my wife had the swordfish. Both were mouth watering and we are praying we get a chance to come back!
I wish we would've discovered Husk sooner. It's soooo good. We came for my birthday dinner this year and had a fantastic experience. We had the biscuits to start. They're buttery and cheddar flavored. Delicious. Then we had the baby back ribs which were phenomenal. I'd eat a whole rack as my meal if I could. For entrees, we ordered the beef as well as the shrimp and grits. Both solid choices. The atmosphere was nice as well. Service was wonderful. We will definitely be back.
Came here for dinner on our last night in Nashville, and we were really looking forward to it because of its great reviews. We unfortunately got seated in the front room which was extremely cold, but the rest of the restaurant was quite warm and lovely which I got to experience on my walk to the restroom. We ordered a couple small plates to start - the pimento cheese, country ham, and tomme with beets. The ham was our favorite and the tomme was a lovely combination of flavors. However, the pimento cheese was lackluster, but our server did take it off our bill. For entree, we shared the beef, which was good but extremely small for $48, and we got literally one piece of kimchi on top. We also shared the southern vegetable plate which was a combination of different vegetable sides. Some of them were good and others were not so much, and once again extremely small portions. Our cocktails were tasty but a little too sweet. Best part of the experience was our server Michael who was lovely.
Came here for a birthday celebration and I’m so glad I did. This was one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time. We started the meal with the bbq pork rinds, bear creek beef tartare and the winter lettuces, followed by the bear creek heritage pork and the bear creek beef. We also got an order of the cheddar biscuits and the southern vegetables. Finished the meal with the molasses custard and the blondie. Everything, and I mean everything, was absolutely delicious. The tartare was a recommendation from our server Jess who also recommended the pork as one of our entrees, both desserts and paired them with an orange blossom wine to finish the night. Jess made excellent recommendations and we finished every last bite. The ingredients were all very fresh and the menu was centered around seasonal flavors and local ingredients. I was also pleasantly surprised to find mead on the menu which is one of my favorite things to drink. The space itself is also very beautiful, set in an old home with exposed brick and polished wood floors. The staff were incredibly friendly and super knowledgeable. I can’t say enough good things about our server and everyone who “touched” our table during dinner. They all wore bright welcoming faces and answered all our questions. They asked about allergies and food aversions right away which made us feel comfortable that we could order without worries. The tables were perfectly manicured and pre-bussed as we finished different items and new flatware between courses. They also gave me a menu with “happy birthday” on the corner and finished the night with a candle on the plate for me (naturally they didn’t want to alter the presentation of the desserts.)
We had our wedding reception and rented the entire place out on a Sunday. Kahlil and his crew took care of everything including the DJ/karaoke! Food was awesome as always and Courtney is the best bartender. The entire vibe makes you feel like family
I was really debating on giving 4 or 5 stars because I give it a 4.5 overall. The half star deduction comes from the oatmeal and gravy not being hot enough to my liking. But I had the buffet, which I rarely do, and that is the biggest issues with buf
Guess what?! PDK has the best catfish and banana pudding ever!. I visited last summer for lunch while in town and recall the catfish was well seasoned and prepared to perfection, hot and ready, packed with flavor and not "oily" whatsoever. It was qui
Absolutely loved it here! The food was amazing, the staff was friendly and very attentive. The coleslaw and cornbread was my favorite, but everything was so good!! Prices aren't bad either for my family of 5.
We swung in here to catch some music and have a drink. It's a great place. We really enjoyed the band and came back on the 2nd night as well and the other band was just as good. Service was good at both bars and a much more laid back atmosphere at
What biscuit magic is this? As a vegetarian, I was intrigued by the idea of vegan biscuits. Combine one cup of curiosity with a cup of skepticism. Bake for 3 minutes while standing in line being served by a friendly guy behind the counter. What poppe
