Hush Hush Cafe & Catering - Mediterranean restaurant in Lake Oswego - 15170 Bangy Rd, USA

If you LOVE Mediterranean food, this is THE place to visit!! My son ALWAYS gets a Turkish coffee, which they bring to the table and pour into the tiny cup. You can see its piping hot from the steam rising! He also always gets spicy garlic fries, which are very tasty. This time, he got the grilled Gyro wrap, which lasted all of 5 min. I got the gyro salad, which is one of my favorites, and it makes 2 meals for me. Couple things, 1. You order at the counter. 2. The extensive menu is overhead, so you have to stand off to the side, just to read it. They also have a QR code (menu) on the tables. We use the full menu online to make our choices before we go. Their food is fresh, hot, and tasty, and we love coming here for lunch. Just be prepared that the wraps and gyros can get a little juicy!

Fast, yummy food for a good price! This is a sit down or takeout experience, we saw people do both while we were there. I got the lamb shawarma plate and the lamb was delicious! My only issue was that it was just rice and meat with a sauce drizzled over it. It could have used slightly less meat and more vegetables! There's plenty of parking and the service is fast, so you'll be in and out in no time if that's what you want. I will be going back for sure.

Found this place by chance. Was late in the day and happened upon it. The staff was great. I was hungry and didn't know what to get. Still not sure what he ordered for me but it was grilled chicken with rice. It was fantastic. Chicken was moist and tender. Very flavorful. I also got some baba ganoush. It was really yummy too. Great job guys I will be back next trip.

Update: 12/9/2023 still the best Kunafa Very delicious food, remind us our home. High quality food. Very good service. And the fast service was amazing. The staff are nice and kind. Will come back again soon. Best kunafa. Good prices.

High quality food. Great vibe. Friendly staff. Tiny suggestion, use less mayo and sauce on the food and ask the guests whether they want them.

Updated 2022 Review!!: Listen man, I’m normally not the one to post a picture of my freshly finished plate I just ate off of, but let me just say if anyone asks me if Hush Hush Cafe is good I’m just going to show them that third picture… The Lamb Shank plate is simply amazing! Old 2021 Review!!: Had this on New Years Eve to cap off 2021 with the best meal I had all year!! I got the grilled chicken wrap and it was to die for. The cashiers were really nice. The cooks were great. The music set a lovely ambiance for the entire restaurant and you could tell everyone was having a good time. 10/10 would recommend. 10/10 would go again.

EXCELLENT FOOD! Everything was very flavorful, somehow a little different and better than other Middle Eastern spots. The gyro meat is ridiculously good, everything looked and tasted fresh. The staff was helpful and friendly and patient to the group of lost-looking first-timers. Definitely coming back!

I absolutely love this place and their food. It's not the greatest place for meeting if you like to sit for a while and talk, but getting a meal, or getting take out, or even delivery thru various services, they are always consistent and delicious. Unfortunately, I have had a few drivers with GrubHub who are too ashamed to call or admit if they make mistakes with delivery, so Hush Hush has to suffer the lost profits or bad reviews from people who receive cold food. Please do go to the place and experience it for yourself first before passing judgment on the delivery as the preparers of the deliciousness cannot control the delivery drivers' timing. My partner and I are partial to the shwarma, but this is also the best tabbouleh I've had in multiple states, and their hummus is always the perfect texture. If you are in the area for a while, take time to sample all they have to offer and you will always be satisfied!
