Hurts Donut Tulsa - Featured Reviews (2697)
There are many good reviews of this place, and I would definitely recommend going early in the day and asking what donuts were just made. Here's why: Before dinner in downtown Tulsa, (on Wed. 7-26-2023) stopped in to get dessert before they closed, but told they never close! So after dinner (about 8 pm) we stopped to pick up a couple donuts. There are so many to choose from, and definitely more as a dessert than breakfast! Staff was quite friendly, and prices very reasonable. I chose the "Hostess Cupcake" donut (a chocolate cake donut filled with cream), plus a blueberry and a sour cream cake donut. I'm disappointed to say that of the three I purchased, two were quite stale. The sour cream cake donut was the best of the three, and super sweet. I'm sure a morning visit will provide fresher donuts, so it's still worth a stop.
It’s a donut shop and somehow they never close. Broad selection. All donuts are made fresh daily. Prices are a little expensive so that’s why they are getting 4 starts. I called in an order which is cool. I got some blueberry donuts. They don’t have In store, but can make when ordered.
A must visit if you are passing by downtown Tulsa. They have a variety of unique donuts. I had the Butterfinger Donut and the Maple Bar. I stopped in around 4 pm and found the donuts to be moist and fresh. The staff was very friendly. I have one very strong suggestion, purchase some milk along with your donuts. Enjoy 😊
Upon my visit to this donut establishment, I regrettably found the donuts to be stale. Furthermore, the absence of a restroom designated for customers proved inconvenient, and the individual who attended to us exhibited a noticeable deficiency in customer service skills.
I went for the first time in 2020 after all the fanfare. Unfortunately I found a long hair baked into one of my donuts. I sent the video to Hurts and they promptly told me I could come in for replacement donuts. Three years later I finally came back in. The lady who took care of us had absolutely zero customer service skills. She acted like I was putting her out by the fact that I even walked in the building. I explained what had happened and showed her the message thread that offered to replace my donuts and she simply said "okay, how many am I supposed to give you?" with an attitude. No apology, no kindness of any kind... Just acting annoyed that she was having to work at all. So now I've been there twice and I've had a bad experience each time. Please don't misunderstand me, I'm not one of those people that can't be pleased. I'm one of those people that own my own business and have always prided myself on having excellent customer service skills. Even before I owned business I always took ownership of the job that I had. I always represented the company I worked for in a professional and kind manner. Therefore I know it's possible and I know that Hurts is "hurting" for better employees and/or better management that can train people how to do a good job.
I love this place!!! There are so many options to choose from. I got a box of the shirts Dozen and a few on the side. The donuts were fresh and delicious and customer service was fast and friendly.
Just left there not too long ago & I hadn't had a donut in forever! I was looking forward to my Pineapple Fritter, though. I was driving, so I was piecing off of it. It didn't taste as expected. It was turned upside down in my box showing the lighter bottom side & wasn't as fresh. I should've paid better attention because there were some good-looking ones still out, but I was busy being a happy customer talking to the staff. The Twix, Reeces Peanut Butter Cup, Glazed Twist & Cake Donuts, were fine. Total cost about $23 tip included.
I've been intelligible for a visiting family and ate at Hertz donut. They have the most wonderful blueberry and apple fritter. But recently I visited they had no fritters. They said unless the boss was there and all of the doughnuts. I brought home twenty four dollars worth were so dry I was really disappointed.
Our kids love coming here every time we are in Tulsa. We usually get the summit which is 6 freshly made mini donuts with 2 scoops of ice cream. The staff is very friend and different flavor combos of the donuts. Really need a location in Dallas ð
