Fun local spot in Kirksville. Friendly staff, nice environment. We tried the Island Fries - wonderful! Cold drinks of all kinds and a wonderful kids menu too.
I'm a Friday night karaoke regular. Never met an unfriendly staff member. Cute island theme complete with ridiculously big punch bowl daiquiris.
Amazing place to go to. Most drinks are $6 then doubles are $8 if I remember correctly. They have a shark attack drink that is $20 but it’s a gallon drink made to be shared between 3-4 people and it comes with a little shark. I’ve been to Florida and had drinks at the bars there this bar is like a copy and paste of it. It’s amazing. It’s clean and the decor is spot on. Will be going back.
I was impressed. The jerk chicken and fries were wonderful. We saw someone get the momosa tower at Saturday brunch and it looks amazing and french toast surprised us (we went after the farmers market). Really impressed by how it looks and the service was great.
Went on my last night in town for karaoke it was very fun, but I was disappointed with the fact that the kitchen was closed and my group couldn't order food.
I was instantly in amaze by how beautiful every single thing in this bar is. The drinks are always amazing. They taste exactly the same every time I go there. The bartenders are amazing and friendly, as are the owners. This is the place I recommend to everyone and will keep recommending! So happy to have a place like Hurricane Haven in Kirksville!
We are VERY lucky to have Hurricane Haven. The drinks are the absolute best. The bartenders are beyond friendly. My husband and I really admire how CLEAN they keep it (bathrooms and all) if you love to sip on the beach Hurricane Haven is where you need to be.
If you are living in Kirksville or just passing through, you will Definitely want to check this place out! If having a good time with great staff in a clean environment is more important than the cheapest drinks, then this is for you. They have a ton of great drink specials themed after the beach and you can catch a game of Bingo if you need something to do. Brings a great energy to the Kirksville area and I cannot wait for their kitchen to open!! Thanks to everyone involved and I cannot wait to see what you guys do for our community.
Gyro is the best I have had anywhere. Wife had a chicken sandwich thing, she liked it. Both of us had fries. We also had the baklava. That was just okay. I come here every time I am in Kirksville.
The store was clean, brought, easy to navigate, and the staff was very friendly. I went in to get a photo and letter frame and they had it completed very quickly.
My dog's Bobo and Dot Dot love it out there and they love to play with all the dogs and it's so clean and nice out there for them to run around at .. I would recommend it to everyone wanting there dog to have interaction with other dogs

My wife and I stayed here two nights. It was wonderful. Great staff, great room, wonderful experience!! There was a horrible thunderstorm and flash flooding and we didn't even know because the place was essentially sound proof. We would stay again!
