Today was an adventure day, and making a stop at Hurricane Creek Park did not disappoint. It was a great spot to stop and dip our toes in the cool water. Great walking trails and ease of access to the water. Not busy at all when we were there and it was nice to just stop and enjoy some nature.
It's a beautiful place to take your family until you have riff raff show up and throw trash everywhere and play very inappropriate music. When they aren't there it's so peaceful. The water is nice a cool and clear.

This parks map is one of the best I have seen. Very clear and color coded 👌 enjoyed going to this trail. Fun to explore with kids as well. Went twice and enjoyed both times.
Great place to go hiking and maintained well. The new ţrails really are an improvement and give the option for a more difficult hike. I do wish you could see more of the water from the trail. Even on the cliff trail you can't see water really.
Great place to walk your dogs. Its an even better place to go take a dip in the river. You will want shoes because of the broken glass. There is over 6 miles of trails that loop off a road so its easy to stay on track. The 1.3 mile look can be confusing because of unmarked forks but its not impossible to find your way out. There is very little hikers there ive only seen two people. I walk my dogs there at least 4 times a week here. Its a super great place!!!
The walking trails are easy to navigate while providing some good exercise. There are lots of wild plants and animals to enjoy, and there are several scenic places for photos over the creek.
Beautiful place. Awesome trails. We ate a picnic down by the creek. It was wonderful! Definitely a fun place to bring kids.
