A nice little community that maintains a very good dock and viewing area for watching boats and fishing as well as see their little lighthouse. We visited in the winter so there was plenty of parking and not too much was open. We will definitely put it on our list to return to during the warmer months.
Nice view of Erin lake. Walk is pretty Short and there are a few benches where you can sit and relax. Small parking pretty close to the lighthosud.
There is a parking lot but if that’s full there is also east street parking. Free. Port a potty. Dogs are welcome. Playground/park down a block. Lots of people fishing, boat launch. Restaurants and bars. Beautiful area. Great place for a sunset. Can see cedar point to the left around the water.
Ĝood place to spend the day. Theres a small beach, place to fish, a good path to walk
Spontaneous road trip stop on the way home from Cedar Point. First we stopped at the nearby airstream for ice cream and then took an evening walk to the lighthouse. It was dark so although we couldn’t see much on the path, the trail was safe enough to make it to the furthest point. We thought somehow you could walk to the lighthouse itself but unfortunately you can only make it to the nearby pier. We understand why you probably can’t make it to the lighthouse itself but that was slightly disappointing. The dock near the lighthouse has the super binoculars so you can see Cedar Point and the shoreline lit up and night and that was a treat. We appreciated reading about the history of the lighthouse at the start of the trail and at the dock. Definitely a fun little pit stop on the way home.
Great for sun rises and sunsets
Nice walk down the pier to get closer view of lighthouse
There was a small public beach and a fishing pier with a lookout that is all handicap accessible.
We went out with PJ two days and had an outstanding time. 82 walleyes over the two days. PJ will keep you on fish. If anyone is thinking about fishing on Lake Erie definitely give PJ Vick a call. Really great guy and will keep you entertained.
Great atmosphere, cozy little coffee shop. My husband and I were in town on a vacation and we enjoyed relaxing with a book on their very comfy couches. Highly recommend their chai latte and mango refresher
The Piedâ is the best, worth the line and a great price. Most other shops close earlier on Sunday night but the Piedâ gives you and extra hour and we took advantage!!! Amazing!!
There was a very short wait. Very friendly family owned restaurant. Waitress was very knowledgeable and fast. The food was amazing.! Very reasonable prices. Very good portions.
Wow-love this place!! We got fried green beans and 6 wings with Caribbean Jerk rub-it was fabulous!! SoHo Wrap, chicken Cordon Blue, Fuzzy Wrap and Carolina Club and it was just amazing-we all were full with a little to take home!! Yum!! We have had
