Huntington Surf Inn - Indoor lodging in Huntington Beach - 720 Pacific Coast Hwy, USA

We loved this quirky little gem on California’s highway one. The rooms were comfortable and clean. They were all themed and fun. The staff was friendly and suggested unique things to do in the area. The hotel had beach toys and boogie board for guests to use. Overall it was relaxing and fun. We will stay there again.

Cute boutique hotel to rest your head. Located directly across the street from the beach easy access to shops restaurants and sand! They provided 2 beach chairs and 2 towels. Michael M was a pleasant host! Coffee and chocolate served all day. The best part is the patio where you can watch the sunset. The rooms are themed we had room 4.

Excellent stay! We were only here for the night but Michael was so accommodating! The bed was very comfortable and I didn’t get the “motel lump” in my back (if you know what I mean). The view was off the charts, I’d give 6 stars if I could. We watched the housekeeper clean our room so I can personally say that the cleanliness of the place is amazing. We waited on the beautiful deck while they made sure our room was ready. The deck is equipped with chairs and benches that’s perfect for watching the sunset. Close to the pier and beach access so you walk no more than .3 miles. Road is a little noisy, but they have windows that drown out most, if not all, of the sound. If you need a place to stay, I can’t recommend this place enough! Don’t give money to the scammy AirBnB listings, they are not worth it! This place is truly a family oriented business, not some big corporation. We will be back in April for my birthday and definitely look forward to staying again!

Michael was such a nice host. We really enjoyed staying there. Everything is in walking distance and loved that they provided chairs, umbrella and beach towels in room. Great deck to sit and watch the ocean. It was nice to be able to park for free under covered parking. Will be back!

Stayed here over the weekend with hubs and 2 teens! We were all overjoyed by not only the really fun theming of the room but also just how clean it was to! The service and hospitality is second to none! Everything you need to enjoy your day at the beach is right there for you. All this and the beach is literally on your porch! We will be back time and time again!!! Thank you for such a great experience!!! 🤙🏻

Our recent stay at Huntington Surf Inn was great! We had great communication with the front desk, especially since we arrived after the office closed. The location was amazing, just a few minute walk to the pier, restaurants, and shops. The rooms were a little dated but very comfortable and great for the price. Loved the different themes! It's close to the main road so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper or ask for a room farther back. The front desk was very gracious and held our bags after checkout. Would definitely stay here again!

I’ll be honest..when I booked it was just for a quick place to sleep, I didn’t care about anything fancy, or amenities. The outside of the Surger inn isn’t as easy on the eyes as the other hotels near by, but it was more pleasant than I thought it would be. I would definitely stay here again. It was cute! It was clean! And location was absolutely PERFECT. Thank you for exceeding my expectations.

This is our favorite place to stay on our frequent trips to Huntington Beach to visit family. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is very friendly. The location is perfectly situated close to many restaurants and obviously the beach. We take our bikes and enjoy the days exploring both directions up the strand to either Sunset Beach or Newport Beach.
