20230904 This museum is huge, but I came here for the trails. I was the first to hike the trails this morning, and during my hike, I realized I was clearing the trails of cobweb. There was a huge spider web occupying it. Thank goodness I managed to go arounding. The trails are well marked, and some par5s are more narrow. The steps down mean going back up toward the end. We hiked 1.41 miles. Most of the trails are shadowed, which was nice. I parked at the museum, and started with the Sensory Trail and ended at the back of the museum.
This museum is such a gem - a must see if you’ll be within a couple of hours. A subtropical conservatory complete with a Chihuly sculpture, nature trail, regional glass collection, near East art and weapons and pottery exhibits, firearms exhibit, cool gift shop, compelling regional photography, and an impressive collection of contemporary American art by famous artists to include Warhol, Frankenthaler, and Rauschenberg?! I’ll take it!
This is a pretty nice museum overall. Really enjoyed the collection of vintage fire arms. Might take an hour to go through. Took my girlfriend for free on a weekend one week. Something nice to go look through once or twice a year. Have a cool plant area as well.
Popped in while passing through and was very impressed. Excellent exhibits provided a great education and the staff was very friendly. Even has a conservatory with a Chihuly sculpture and terrific fish tank. Great setting too - away from all the hubub with beautiful sculptures and trees all around.
The plant and wildlife area is really interesting and full of unique plants and small amphibians and fish. The large sculpture in the pond is also beautiful and adds a nice atmosphere. The rest of the museum is primarily dominated by a large single family collection that was donated, a traveling exhibit, two resident artists, a small exhibit on the history of guns and weaponry, and a small middle eastern exhibit. Nice overall experience, but not a lot of truly standout exhibits.
This was a cute little museum. We spent a little over 2 hours here and got to see everything. Nice setup. The conservatory was phenomenal, it was my favorite part. It was absolutely worth coming here.
I got my micro Mothman Squishable today! Thank you Sophia for the kind note on the packing slip! Glad I could support you all! ❤️ I’m a few hours away but I’ll have to visit soon!
What a wonderful museum! I saw interesting artists and innovative materials/techniques. If you are in the Huntington area, be sure to visit this art museum! I am glad I did.

Incredible ambiance and atmosphere - the staff was impeccable and the prices were accommodating. Definitely make this a stop on your trip to Charleston. This is my first time here and I love it.
We visited for brunch. The restaurant is clean and modern with a fun theme. Our waiter was lovely. Food was fresh and came out warm. The quality was good. For those who arenât as big of a fan of sweet pulled pork, the pulled pork is fairly sweet. I
Incredible memories were made, and all the fun was had. The best concert I have seen here thus far was dax. It was truly a memorable experience where we got to be so close to the stage. That's something we wouldn't have gotten had we chosen any other
Update 10/9/23 Under new ownership with a new direction. Love the atmosphere and decor. They have live Jazz each month. Milca's Sangria and The St. Blossom martini are favorites for drinks. A fun, upbeat place to go.
Great little spot in downtown Huntington. Definitely the diner feel, however, it is top notch on food and service! All the bread is freshly baked, folks, all of it! Can have breakfast for lunch as well. You will not go wrong here. Love, love, love th
Played this course for the first time. Fairly easy to navigate thanks to udisc. Highlight of my visit was hitting an ace on hole 17. Super stoked and will definitely play this course again. Beautiful track that was pretty well maintained.
We came down from Michigan to take our little guy to Billy Bob's, before we went we checked out downtown and found The Pottery Place. We had an absolutely amazing time. It was our first time, and they were so kind in explaining how it worked and they
Very nice place to hang out, you can order food for delivery , they no longer serve food. Once upon a time they had great wings. West Virginia gaming available, pool tables, and darts.
