Quiet but I find the trail system very confusing. 4 times now and we’ve never made it around this one hike. It’s a nice walking area, lots of climbs. Tree roots everywhere so be careful.
Super scenic and range of landscapes. Lots of trails, but the markings/maps there aren't great. I would recommend pulling up one of the online maps that are available online. 100 percent worth going though, and the paths are pretty interconnected so it was fun to explore.
Absolutely beautiful... but the trails aren't marked well. The purple and pink trails look like same color... but other wise.. great hiking trails. Gorgeous views.
Great spot to hike, looks fantastic for off road biking too... A number of new jumps on the upper red loop looked pretty knarly. Hiked along the water from lower parking lot then back through the creek itself - kids loved that! Trails are well worn, but they're not well marked for first time visitors. Trails are fairly short, so quick to become familiar with. Mid summer, water level is normally ankle deep, but a few deeper spots 3-4 feet to cool off. Highly recommend, especially on a day off work with the kids.
This trail is extremely well maintained by mountain bikers, benefiting hikers too. Beautiful and easy hiking trails for all ages, but you may want to bring a map as cell/GPS signal gets spotty to non-existent in places, and there are a lot of forks and loops to explore. In the Spring you see waterfalls, in Summer the family can take a refreshing dip in an accessible deeper section of the creek.
Nice trails. Calm waters with lots of stones (bit slipper depending on time of year). Respect nature! Don’t litter! Be careful of the wolf spiders and going off trails, use a bit of common sense. There is a map one can take a picture of before entering.
Great hiking experience! Many different paths to take. We walked for 4 miles and completed a couple different loops. The path is well marked. Take a picture of the map before you go in and follow the numbered markers. I am glad we wore hiking boots because some spots were muddy. It is also a long enough path that even if the parking lot is full you will be by yourself 99% of the time with passing by people only here and there. Loved it!
We got to see toads frogs snakes fish and tadpoles. The park is very quiet and the stream is shallow enough to walk in a considerable distance wherever you enter. There are two entrances, we went in the southern one, but I think there is a waterfall if you enter at the northern entrance. Enjoy!
I had my wedding at this venue, and I cannot express my gratitude for the venue owner/manager and his whole staff. It rained on my wedding day, and he still helped make my day feel so special, so beautiful and run incredibly smooth. I would do my we
Great little place in a unique location. Staff was friendly and food was great (had the BBQ chicken sandwich - 2 thumbs up! So good!). Also had a flight of cocktails and settled on the Honey Palmer. Very good! It was trivia night and we had a good ti
You'd think it'd be difficult to squeeze another top class bar and restaurant into the village of EA, but Main and Hamlin did just that! In only a short period of time they've ascended to one of the top spots in the area. The wings are already acclai
A beautiful view of the sleepy valley of East Aurora New York. This place has off-road parking and benches to sit and enjoy the scenery in quiet serenity at any time of day.
We traveled from Maryland to East Aurora to pick up a snowmobile. We arrived early so we found The Poked Yolk. We waited in the parking lot because of traveling arriving before they opened. The whole experience couldnât have been any better. The ho
Charming place with several beautiful eating spots: inside the tavern-like rooms, by the pub-like bar and outside on a large patio with either sun or shade. Great menu selection with food that is obviously well-planned by excellent chefs. I really
Stopped in for coffee which was good. I heard they have a great roast beef sandwich though. Atmosphere and service was good. Only thing I would recommend is a menu for the coffee. Not that most people who stop in only for coffee need a large menu but
Great secluded park. Enjoyeable trail! Once you enter the wooded area it is very cool. Benches strategically placed in key areas. Be sure to keep an eye in little ones, pets or those with balance issues as there are some high cliff areas. Was wo
Planned the trip to Canada driving by buffalo and having the idem wings (I know), and this place didn't disappoint. The best wings we ever had. Went with medium since we were not familiar with it and we liked it a lot, next time maybe going a bit hig
Loved the atmosphere provided by the welcoming employees! Had some groovy beats playing to accompany the delectable menu. So many healthy options served fresh to your liking! I got the Orange Dreamsicle smoothie and they were able to sub out the bana
