My dad always had to eat here atheist 2x each visit when he would visit us in the hill country. Now that he passed I find myself having his favorite breakfast here when I miss him. He wasn't wrong. He loved him a good breakfast!
Will not stay again expensive, a bar nearby loud music until closing time. room was large bed was uncomfortable coffee pot dirty. Worst stay ever.
I go to resturant only for breakfast and sometimes lunch. I live locally

On a motorcycle trip with my young son and we chose to stay in Ingram instead of our usual stop in Kerrville when we come down. From the call for reservations all the way through the stay it was spot on perfect. |Great customer service and attention to needs of the traveler on a motorcycle. |Location was clean, good drive up easy access and the coldest air conditioning on the planet! Had to call and get blankets which the delivered to the room and REFUSED to accept a tip! Restaurant on site was convenient and the food was way above average for where we were. |Beds comfy, firm pillows and nice hardwood floors throughout. Great water pressure in shower as well. |Old towels for cleaning the bikes right at the front desk. |It’s away from all the hustle and bustle of Kerrville but it’s only 6 miles away if you need to go. Not many food choices near motel , but we can’t say enough about the food at on site restaurant. I had a rib eye steak and veggies with a baked potato and desert for $22! Can’t go wrong!|Will stay here again
This is the first time I have been at the Hunter House Cafe. It was recommended to me by some local people as a great place to eat. They were right. The food was fresh and plenty and the prices were right for the entree. They have a full menu so you are not limited to a breakfast plate. Our server was Maria. She was a one man show. She knows everything and everybody. She helped us select the entree and she was right there for more coffee and/or water. Very pleasant and a pleasure to be served by her. We had a breakfast that had 2 pancakes and 2 eggs and a choice of meat. The pancakes were called medium but thy were large and fluffy. The eggs were cooked to the way we requested. The meat was cooked well and plenty in size. The restaurant has about 14 tables and it is comfortable and the parking is right out front. I will enjoy going back to this nice place whenever I am in the Ingram area.||||Hat's off to the Hunter House Cafe !
We love eating at the restaurant. Everything that we've ordered so far has been really good. Try to take advantage of the lunch specials. You get a lot of food for a good price. I love the roast beef and all the soups. I'm glad now they have dinner hours now. Hopefully dinner hours stick around for a while.
This was our first time to stay in Ingram, Tx. The people at this motel were so nice and accommodating. My friend forgot to bring a fan. She always sleeps with a fan going. So I went to the front desk to ask him for one. He checked a couple of places and found 1. She was happy about this. The cafe next door had good food & get service. Excellent place to stay in the Hill Country.
I went yesterday afternoon to their Crawfish boil/Carnival event with live bands. The music was nice, weather was warm but not too hot, the crawfish weren't too expensive of $15 a plate with boiled corn and red potatoes and tasted pretty good not spi
