Hunan - Chinese restaurant in Douglasville - 6105 Fairburn Rd, USA

Just picked up some fried rice, brown gravy, and veggie spring rolls. Everything tasted really good. Knocked off a point because I ordered vegetable spring rolls but was surprised to find shrimp when I bit into it. I like shrimp so it wasn’t a big deal. But had j been allergic that could’ve went really bad. Other than that, tasty place.

First time. It was ok. I asked for a spicy Vegetable Lo Mein and despite it not being spicy it still tasted good. Tried the broccoli in garlic sauce. Had to throw it away. No spice just sweet sauce. There are very few options for vegetarians and no desert. The people who help you with your food are children. Found it a bit strange. Will probably order the Lo Mein again but will not try other dishes.

I decided to order Chinese through GrubHub. I ordered the General Tso’s Chicken with fried rice (extra onion) & 3 pork egg rolls. My food arrived hot, fresh, and with plenty of sauce. The chicken was crispy & I loved that my broccoli was not mushy in texture. The fried rice was also really good! My only critiques are that I wish it was just a little more spicy (it was more on the sweet side) and the pork egg rolls had very little meat, just mainly the roll with minimal filling. Other than that, the food was great, and I will most certainly order from here again! I also had to call initially to request the extra onion (that option wasn’t available on GrubHub’s app), and the lady who answered the phone was extremely nice and made sure everything was included with my order. Overall, excellent experience!

I used to go here all the time but after the bad reviews at some point and the closing of hunan it made me think that it was over for the restaurant. I FINALLY went Back couple days ago. Everything was remodel, looks fresh,nice service from 2 little girls and the most important the food was AMAZING!!! HUNAN IS BACK !!! If you had a bad experience from the old hunan, you should totally give it a try again.

I LOVE the spring rolls here. So *fresh* every single time. Very reasonably priced and I pair them with the sweet and sour sauce which is also the best sweet and sour sauce I’ve had in a long time. The consistency is amazing and the customer service is awesome.

I read the reviews and decided to give them a chance. I ordered egg foo young, and sesame chicken. As soon as i fixed my plate and proceeded to put the gravy on my egg Foo young, there was a bug in the sauce 😩. I couldn't eat my food. My husband ate the sesame chicken and said it was okay, this is why I gave 1 star. I was totally disgusted and decided to throw everything away. I have NEVER found a bug in my food before. I will not eat from this restaurant ever again. My advice to you if you do decide to eat here....check your food thoroughly so that you do not eat bugs 🤮.

I’ve been going here for years. So good, they are so friendly and caring. The utensils aren’t weak like other places. The food is always hot and fresh. I’d eat here everyday if I could, I just wish I was close enough for delivery.
