“I recently tried the Turkish Breakfast at Hummus Mediterranean Kitchen, and it was fantastic! The flavors were heavenly, and we enjoyed every bite. We couldn’t resist adding an omelet to our order, and it was equally delicious. Overall, a delightful dining experience with super good food. In conclusion, it exceeded our expectations. The Turkish Breakfast and the additional omelet were both superb, leaving us with a sense of satisfaction and a desire to return. Highly recommended for those seeking a delightful gastronomic adventure on the weekend.

The food was decent. Would try once. Had the Hummus flight, side of falafel, spanakopita and cheese pide. The cheese pide would be the dish I would come back for. The falafel and hummus were kid of whatever but warm. Service was quick and they had tables when we visited. Atmosphere is like any fast food joint.

Ordered pick-up on Uber only to discover we ordered from the wrong location! The cashier called the other store and cooked us our order; no penalty. This is the kind of kindness and generosity I would never expect, especially on a platform order. Thank you! Oh, and the food is good too.

Came here without a reservation with 1 other person. Good: - Pretty quick service - go up to the front and order, then come back outside - Good portion sizes - I liked the beef moussaka a lot and it came with a tasty and refreshing side salad and a yummy pita bread as well - Decent pricing - not the cheapest but also not crazy for Castro street - Super nice staff Bad: - Pretty casual place, not super fancy but the inside is nice! Overall this place is a casual place to get healthy tasting food on Castro! In my opinion, pretty comparable to a place like Oren's Hummus.

At Hummus, I was transported to a hidden gem that offers a delectable taste of the Mediterranean. The warm and inviting ambiance set the perfect tone for a delightful meal. Opting for their chicken wrap and deciding to switch the side of fries with a fresh salad was a fantastic choice. The tender chicken in the wrap was bursting with flavor, perfectly complemented by their homemade tangy sauce with just the right amount of spice. Choosing the salad as a side proved to be a brilliant decision. The crisp and vibrant mix of fresh vegetables added a refreshing and healthy touch to the meal, enhancing the overall experience. For those who enjoy Mediterranean cuisine or seek to explore new flavors, Hummus is an absolute must-visit! On to the food… it was absolutely delicious. In addition to stellar service, the food is at the heart of this review. In total, we tried their falafel wrap, spanakopita, stuffed eggplant, Turkish breakfast board (made vegetarian) which came with amazing black tea, fresh hot pita, shakshuka, menemen, and a fresh salad. Then for dessert we had baklava and chocolate mousse cake. To say that we were stuffed would be an understatement. Every single dish was so fresh and flavorful. Not a wilted leaf in the salad, falafels were crispy outside without being dry, all of the dips were delicious and paired well with the amazing pita. Hummus was extra creamy. The spicy sauce for the falafel wrap was stellar. At the end of the meal, Sidar even went next door to get me an extra vegan dessert as their desserts are vegetarian and he didn’t want me to feel left out. My parents and I literally have never been treated so well by a restaurant and I will no doubt be bringing all of my friends and family here in the future.

Best Lahmacun I've had in the USA. Bit on the expensive side. Mixed grill is ok but I'm not a fan of unseasoned meat

The waitress is nice, but the male cashier: I ordered ‘stuffed eggplant’ appetizer, it turns out later when it was served they also have the dish with the same name in house plates, and that’s what they gave me, it’s 80% more expensive. As I walked over to the cashier with the intention to point out that the two dishes having the same name may be confusing, the cashier since the beginning has been very defensive and said it’s my fault that I should tell him which item it is (but I wasn’t even aware it exists in the other section) or check in the receipt or the price for the right item… In another place where people may be nicer I would be offered a refund for the differences, but here I only got into some arguing.. not coming back
