We took a wonderful stroll on the trail on a late September morning. Only some of the trail has shading, so afternoon walks on hot days can be a challenge. No mosquitoes to speak of. The trail was a mix of wooden walkways, asphalt, and a little bit of grass. There's one water station along the way. There was no elevation. Overall, its a pleasant, not too hard, 3+ mile trail good for walking, jogging, and biking.
Free state park. Nice wide path. Easily navigated a wheelchair through this boardwalk. So much to see. Could spends hours here. Clean restrooms.
Great trails, lots of wild life from gators, snakes, bobcats, otters, deer, turtles, eagles, osprey and coyotes just to name a few.
Super nice and kept up! Plenty of benches and picnic tables along the way to rest, even clean bathrooms along the trails! They had things along the way even for the children to play on. We saw turtles, alligators, and lots of beautiful nature! I would definitely recommend taking the family and make a day of it!
The Hugh Branyon Backcountry Trail is a really great walk (or jog/bike). We walked only 3 miles round trip of it while at least 25 people were smarter than us riding past us on their bicycles. That would have been a great idea for us too but we were walking with 2 dogs. We did this hike on Fri. 9-23-22 and it was in the 90s but felt like 100. My car said 102 when I left. It was a really hot walk and I do not recommend walking all the way back to the campground or the nature center or the beach from the main parking lot... unless the weather is in the 80s or cooler cause the 90s was absolutely too hot to do all that walking. You are walking in 100% SUN 🌞 (if it's sunny) no shade until you come across the bridges with the overhangs and benches etc. So be prepared if walking...I truly recommend biking over walking. There's a lot more to the park than what we got to do if you ride a bike instead of walking, you will be able to see a LOT more of the park.
Great spot for leisure activity! Nice trails…always a favorite spot of ours when in town!!!
Got here by mistake, but was a wonderful discovery. Very well kept trails and beautiful park
A great bike ride through the park! My favorite section to start at is the Gulf Oak Ridge Trail West & make a large loop as it's beautiful & a little more shaded with Oak Trees and Spanish moss hanging down over the path. Make sure to bring stuff to protect against the biting yellow flies during this time of the year. I recommend picking up a bottle of Cactus Juice Bug Protectant to have on hand just in case!

We and one other couple booked a deep drop charter targeting grouper with Captain Josh and Corey. Unfortunately, the grouper was not interested in what we had to offer that day. Captain Josh eventually said that we were going to change our tactics an
What a great park! The boys and I went to find a playground and scout out fishing spots. This place has both, as well as two sets of bathrooms to use and multiple picnic shelters. The playground area is fenced in, and the equipment is relatively new.
Awesome service and food. Drinks were great. Was a little cold when we were here(Jan). So they could use maybe 1 indoor section as its all outside seating. Atleast they had propane heat lamps. Lindsey at the bar was awesome! Cool spot.
We explored the Wharf both during the day and at night. There is plenty to do between exploring all the shops, riding the ferris wheel, dolphin boat tours, amphitheater, bars and restaurants, and so much more. There is plenty of free parking outside
I read hundreds of reviews on this resort before I booked. I'm so happy we decided to book at the Caribe. We stayed in unit B507 with 12 people. We had a bay view which was fun watching all the boats and people from the balcony. I don't think there i
Breathtakingly BEAUTIFUL, panoramic views. The rooms are delightfully furnished and comfortable. All the necessary/ expected amenities are readily available. The staff is refreshingly charming and repeatedly went above and beyond to meet our needs.
We had a wonderful time at the Palm Beach Resort in Orange Beach. It was beautiful & pleasant. All the condos have a view of the Gulf. Bring your own blanket since our room did not have any extras. I highly recommend staying here.
What a great place for breakfast! From Shrimp and cheese grits, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, and a piece of ham. Food was hot and delicious. Must try if your in Orange Beach!! Service was great from waitress as well!
