Visited here several times for family dinners and it has always been a good experience. Last night our server was Madelyn (Maddie) and she was outstanding. She made it our best experience there yet! She was extremely friendly and patient with our large party of 10, running around all night getting us water, cocktails, appetizers, dinner, dessert, extra plates, extra sauces, extra cheese, more water, etc, it was non-stop. She was so patient with us she even offered to take our group picture as we were celebrating my dad's birthday. She has the sweetest demeanor.
I came here today for the first time after my annual apple picking excursion at a nearby orchard. The food and service was great. My Bloody Mary with Tito's Vodka really hit the spot. My waitress Cate was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself, including the bathroom is very clean. Plus, there is plenty of parking. Definitely a place I will stop by again the next time I am in the area.
First time here, my brother and his boyfriend are regulars. We went to celebrate his birthday. Our waitress was so great and the chicken pot pie was delicious. We’ll definitely be back!
Went tonight for dinner. Clean place, food was very good! I had a cheeseburger with steak fries. Wife had some kind of Asian salad with chicken. Chicken was very fresh, as was the vegetables. Also had Mac & cheese bites as an appetizer. Yummy!
At first, we expected to just have pub fare on the menu. This place has so much more. Yes, there are the staples you would find in a pub but the restaurant has so much more to offer. My wife ordered an open faced Reuben that was piled high with very lean meat, lots of cheese and just the right amount of sauerkraut. She said it was delicious. I ordered the BBQ Bacon burger. There was a ton of bacon in this thing. Bacon in every bite, not like some other places where they put 1 or 2 slices. The BBQ sauce was their own special blend and it was very tasty. We both ordered the sweet potato fries that were cooked to perfection. Atmosphere of the place is very nice with stained glass lights and panels throughout the place. Lots of revolutionary war paintings on the walls too. Read the history of the area and Huddy himself to get a better sense of the area’s history. If we were in this area again, definitely would revisit. Prices were reasonable for both food and drinks.
The foods were a bit salty (some). The service was implacable, and the views are great as well as the décor.
Have had enjoyable experiences in past three years. ...then Saturday, Dec 9, we had a terrible experience. 1. Our reservation made on the 9th was acknowledged when we entered. We were told it would be a few minutes while our booth was cleared and to be seated. About ten minutes later a couple sat next to us. The receptionist that told us to wait, told the couple next to us that a booth was available to them. She then told us no booth was available for us. 2. We were seated in the back room. Placed our order for two delicious cocktails and one Bavaria pretzel and one Bavaria pretzel to take home; one order for beef stew and one order for chicken piccata. 3. The empty 4 tables around us were filled and shortly thereafter received their orders.finished and left. 4. After 1 hour and a half the waitress, who was busy, came to us and said our orders were given to another table! Also, our beef stew order couldn't be completed because they ran out of beef stew !! In our years going to Huddy's from the strip mall to the new location, we never have experienced such a frustrating and unenjoyable experience. We certainly hope this was an anomaly!!!!
3.11.23 update. Had another great meal, service friendly, maybe could have been more attentative. After dinner went to the bar and had a great time with the live music and some dancing. First time there. I had heard some good things about Huddy 's and I was not disappointed! I also recently read an article praising their burgers. Well, I wasn't disappointed, the burger was delicious and per paired with real steak fries, not what some places are trying to pass off these days. The French dip was equally delicious. Great drinks and service as well. We went later in the eve so the only things was a limited dessert menu as some of my favorites had been sold out. Will be back, soon and often!
I've taken my sons here a few times. Each time we have found at least one thing interesting. We have found a squid pen and vertabrea. It's a good activity to do on a hot day, since the stream is shaded and the water is refreshing to walk in.
I recently visited this deli, and it exceeded all my expectations. The variety of fresh, high-quality meats and cheeses was impressive. The staff was friendly, and the service was prompt. The sandwiches were deliciously crafted, with generous portion
I am so happy to have this space in my hometown! We visited this gem when we came home from Utah for the holidays. It was a pleasure visiting and being able to interact with Ben at the bar and Bella and Jenna who helped make our corn-hole dreams com
Coffee is the best especially the cold brew. The staff are all wonderful! They are super knowledgeable about the coffee and have never steered me wrong!
