The park has areas where you can sail in from the river and temporarily tie up your boat for a walk about.
It's named after a locally famous man from Toms River history. The park provides a relaxing view of parts of the river.
During warm weather months, a Farmers Market is held here on Wednesday until 4:00 pm.
The only downside is that portions of the park, including the central gazebo are fouled with Canada geese droppings. I did not encounter any geese during my visit.
The main access point and parking lot is off of Water Street in Downtown Toms River. The island portion of the park is accessible by a footbridge. A secondary parking lot and access is found on the western, far side of the park. Huddy Psrk one of the many Toms River riverside parks that add to the charm of the town making it highly desirable location.
Well maintained I even was there on. Rainy day but the serenity was there to enjoy fishing but a word of warning boats and jet skiers you can't fit under the bridge. The fishing is good though. Come for the many possible activities and learn the history too.
Beautiful park to relax and this time there was a boat show happening too. With easy access to the bay.
Great place to take the kids to see some wildlife or just hangout there are some fish to be caught snapper bluefish, bunker, spots, crabs yellow perch and the list goes on also a cool place to dock the boat and go eat.
No matter what I really like this place...thanks for the new install of restroom now just can u figure in some shade from the sun...lol.....this place is beautiful
Very small and you have to pay a small fee to park. 75 cents per hour. Machine accepts change but it doesn't work so you have to put in a credit card or pay cash and you don't get any change back. Its got a gazebo and a small walking path. But that's about it. Not much too it. But it is cute and scenic. I was just looking for a scenic outdoor area to sit down at and each lunch and enjoy a little nature.
Lots of geese and geese poop other then that it’s a short walk by the Tom’s River. Scenery isn’t anything wow but well maintained and has some historical references that are nice to check out.
I like this park a lot. One of my friends has lived in this park. It's a great place to suck down a few beers if one can do so without drawing attention to themselves.
I always take my kids here. To play and run. There's tables with seats if you just want to watch them while they play and has lots of shades for those sunny days. And it's always clean. Perfect for picnic if you ever want to have a family reunion wit
The food is excellent. The people are very nice and accomodating. We arrived early because we came as a group and MOE the lady who welcome us arranged our table right away. We were assured of the table and that was the best of all.
The food was exc
I've lived in the area for years and have dined at most every restaurant. For our anniversary I wanted to try some place new to add to the excitement of the night. Well I owe Google a big shout out, because me search and the posted Google reviews l
This walk-up window donut shop is a little bit of heaven. The donuts are made all day. They are hand prepared(decorated) as you order them. The final result is a warm, sensational, unique treat. With a month to month rotating menu, they'll keep you
The Italian restaurant impresses with its authentic flavors and welcoming ambiance. The diverse menu features well-executed pasta dishes and flavorful sauces. The attentive service adds to the overall positive experience. While the prices are moderat
This place is perfect for spending a couple of hours with children. It has ample parking space and the entrance fee is highly affordable. To know their summer hours, you can either visit their website or make a phone call. The place is impeccably cle
This is truly a gem in ocean county. They have some of the most meticulously breed amazing beer that I've had ever, anywhere. And I had beer all over the world.
You're allowed to bring your own food, and beer prices are very reasonable, so the visit
This was my first time here and it was such a nice visit! My kids loved the show and the laser song at the end was so cool! The seats are super comfortable and the gift shop is perfect for a little trinket. We will definitely be back!
I love going here! Everything from their appetizers, lunches, dinners, and desserts is on point. The chefs really put their all into their food. They will literally run out of the kitchen to make sure that you get your food, fast and hot! They use fr
