Huddle House - American restaurant in Macon - 4900 Ocmulgee E Blvd, USA

I come to this huddle house when I come down to Macon and hunt. I’ve been coming here for 3 years and it’s always been a pleasure. I came about 6pm Sunday evening. The waitress brought our waters and tea while we looked at the menu. She stepped out/disappeared for 5 or so minutes….comes back in and continues on her phone at the register. We sat there for an additional 23 minutes and she never came to take our order. We walked out and she saw us leave and she said “your food is almost ready”. I replied “you never took our order!” We walked back in because we were hungry and she took our order. The food tasted fine, however, the portions were very small. I felt like the cook took 3 eggs instead of 4 and split them between us. I felt like I was being rationed. The hash browns were small as well. I’d never seen anything like it. Very disappointed. I love this place and I eat here every time I hunt. I’ll give them another chance, but I’ve eaten at Waffle House and huddle house for the last 25 years of my life and I’ve never been given small portions. Super bummed. Charge me more money or something, but don’t skimp on the portion of my meal. I was hunting and hiking all day, all I wanted was the normal meal I always get.

Food was pretty decent. Service was a bit rough at first but then it got better. I’m guessing that my waitress was having a bad day which is understandable and I’m not rating based just in that. Otherwise it was a pleasant meal 😊

GREAT SERVICE AND FOOD! nothing else to say. Was greeted when My family walked in; after we got our drinks and food was constantly asked if we needed anything else. Just great!

Food was horrible macaroni tastes like spoiled milk portions are very small worst experience I've had at a huddle house ever . Never be back. Should fire entire staff.

The food was ok .. some stuff was served on dirty dishes ...you know the dish washer didn't get everything off ... the waiter was nice and attentive .. she replaced the food and gave us plastic silverware which is what I always ask for any way

I wish our server would have told us that they were pausing food orders to clean the griddle. Unfortunately we found out by then telling others who came in after us. Service was incredibly slow, in hindsight we should have left before the 20 minutes it took to take drink orders, but we were on a very emotionally heavy trip and didn't have the spoons. Food was decent enough, when it came out over an hour after we arrived(breakfast foods), but this was a poor choice for a pit stop.

Music was playing and it was curse words and derogatory words that were inappropriate for my child much less customers in general. Do better please. This should be a family friendly restaurant.

Great food..My first time visiting and I have to say I honestly think they're better than waffle house lol...BEST PART YOY CAN GET BREAKFAST LUNCH AND/OR DINNER
