Huddle House - American restaurant in Inverness - 321 US Hwy 41 S, USA

Ordered from here a few times now. Every single time the food has been good. Lunch, breakfast etc. All meals have been great. One of the few places that knows what "extra crispy" means when it comes to hash browns

Our waiter, an older gentleman, was very nice and attentive. Our food on the other hand was not! My sons chicken sandwich was so over done it was a hockey puck, as were my daughters tenders from her chicken and shrimp basket from which at first she only received chicken because they forgot the shrimp. My husband ordered a turkey bacon ranch sandwich that is supposed to come with Swiss cheese on it, it was not on there. The lettuce was brown and wilted on his sandwich. When the waiter took my son's sandwich back to the kitchen area he said "this needs to be remade" and the one cook said "I know". If he knew I don't know why he would send it out like that to begin with. It's not like they were bombarded, there were three cooks and two tables occupied with people. We do enjoy coming here every once in awhile but this time it was not at all acceptable.

Took my 70 year old friend there for her birthday. Food was cooked and set on counter waiting for toast. After over 8 minutes still no toast. Person making toast was confused reading tickets and putting appropriate meat from drawer and toast on plates. Cook finally assisted and 2 others joined in to help and we finally got our food. Unfortunately our food was cold. Upon letting them know, we were yelled at by server and owner/operator about wasting food, the price of food, and 3 people putting their hands on our food and declaring it was hot. My 70 year old friend whose birthday it was was horrified at the reaction and got up and walked outside. She never even got the soda she ordered until after the food arrived. The server did apologize and said she forgot. I now had three people yelling at me loudly in restaurant as the owner demanded I pay for a soda that was never even touched by my senior friend. I paid for the soda while being insulted loudly and proceeded to leave. I was then called over to a table that had just arrived as they were asking me about my husbands passing and how I was doing. Before I could answer them, once again I was yelled at again to leave the restaurant immediately. I never raised my voice during all of this. I then called corporate and lodged a complaint only to have the owner operator to call me at home and harassed me again. Terrible customer service and my church friends who came in were also horrified by the behavior in this business.

I have been to this location twice, and both times the food was excellent. The restaurant is clean, and the owner is very attentive, in that she cares about her business and the experience of her customers. Will definitely return.

I stopped going there 2 years ago because they were adding a covid fee and today they tried to charge me $5 to share a meal with my wife. They said it's because of the Holiday. Their customer service is about as good as the cleanliness of the restaurant

Avoid Huddle house in inverness Florida. We went there last night to eat and as soon as we walked in the lady said did church just let out I said no are you open she said yes we close at 8 now it's only 7 o'clock and the whole time all we heard was them complaining about how they close at 8 well we ordered our food and it came out piece by piece not even our whole plate of food all together and my one year old granddaughters pancake was one of the last things to come out so I asked the server is she doing this on purpose because all she did was complain at one point she said they're lucky I didn't walk out when they walked in and our server said why would you walk out they came in at 7 we are open until 8. At one point the server (manager) came to fill the tea glasses and she said this is the last of the tea so sip it.. Another couple came in behind us then a table of three. our server told me the cook was overwhelmed well what does she do when it's my daughter walked out with my granddaughts because the little one was over it at this point and when Another customer came in they told him we are closing and that cook said well they keep going in and out so they unlocked the door. We were so over it I said I'm fixing to show my a**so my daughter and I go to pay for our food and I said can I have the Managers number she said I am the Manager my daughter said you mean your the Manager and you put up with that and let that little girl talk and act that way and she said my sister is the owner and I'm going to her house when I leave here to talk about this and I said I have never been to a place to eat and felt so uncomfortable this to totally uncalled for I said I'm a Manager too were I work and this would never happen we treat our people with respect. I told the Manager we have been here before she said I remember you guys.Then when she saw I didn't tip her she showed me the receipt and said I don't get a tip I said talk to her about your tip she said that's not my fault I said your the Manager it is your fault. As we were walking out she said really loud that's not my fault I said your the Manager it is your fault. This isn't even the whole story of what we dealt with in there but they should have paid us to eat there. I have never went out to eat and not left a tip there was no way I was tipping the food was awful and we were so disrespected by not only the girl cooking but the so called manager as well. We will never eat there again.

Had a few shells (i think) in my omlet. Good otherwise waited 45 min for food and it was very cold in the restaurant. Service started out poor but improved greatly. In the end, it could've been worse.

Over all the place was clean and the service was ok. Order was made in decent time. There's room for a few improvements however they did a great job while I was there. Menu is pretty simple, but with the coupons we had, made it definitely worth while! Especially for the MVP Meal Deal!
