Huddle House - American restaurant in San Angelo - 3151 N Bryant Blvd, USA

We ate at this location for lunch. When we walked in we were seated pretty promptly. It took a good 8 minutes before we had a waitress come take our drink order. She was kind and pleasant. Drinks were delivered promptly and our food order taken. The food arrived pretty quickly. The food was a good temperature. I got biscuits and gravy. It was average. Not a lot of flavor but just ok. I ordered bacon.. Which was crispy and pretty good. My side of hash browns...well.. they were overcooked and hard. The waffles were ok... Kind of crisp, but ok. It was clean inside the restaurant. It's a ok place...not gonna knock your socks off...but ok.We will visit again from time to time.

Delicious breakfast! (My favorite in town.) I love that they serve waffles! Plus I really enjoy their grits, & biscuits 'n gravy. Some of the cooks there can do perfect over-medium eggs, which is my favorite version. Some of the tables have electric outlets which is great for using my laptop or charging my phone. The staff are all very sweet, easy to communicate with, very prompt, & are excellent servers. They are usually cleaning, something/anything when they have down time which keeps the diner nice inside.

I would give more then a 1 star but the the employees have a Bluetooth speaker turned up so loud I can't even hear people setting at my table. Very unprofessional. I get the feel I'm in a bar not a resturant

have never left a review for any business but I had to leave one for this business. I went with a friend who lives out of town on New Year's Day. The place was empty, so it was quiet. The table was dirty upon arrival. No relaxing music while you wait for your order. The customer service was horrible. The waitress had ear phones in and had no conversation skills. When we finally got our order, it was wrong. She left cups waiting to be refilled, dirty plates on the table, and no offer for condiments. The food had good taste but the portions were ridiculous for the price. I was not satisfied at all. The only reason they received one star is because I had to mark at least one.

Stood waiting for at least 5 minutes while hostess sat with 2 other employees at a table playing on her phone. She finally sat me at a table occupied by a broom and dustpan. Then I waited another 5 minutes to be acknowledged. Thought the server might be a ray of sunshine. Took my order quickly - once someone else had finally acknowledged me and gave me my drink. But no… I waited a total of 30 minutes for an order that was wrong. I had to find salt then was ignored when I needed her. Waiting to see if they charged me for the “extra” food to correct my order!

The waitress worked alone with ear buds in her ears the whole time we waited 15 minutes before we even got to order drinks. Once we finally got our food 30 minutes later she disappeared for 5 minutes and we were still missing a plate. When it was brought to her attention she said I never ordered which I had...she came back and said she never put it in after all. They definitely need more help and a waitress who pays attention to costumers instead of on her phone the whole time and talking into her ear buds. Huddle House San Angelo needs to get it together and take pride in the restaurant.

Visited this restaurant on 6/9/23. I ordered a MVP breakfast which I soon regretted. As you can see in the picture there a burnt flakes on my " buttermilk" pancakes. Which would have been fine but the pancakes tasted burnt. I was the only customer and the lady still neglected to put syrup in my bag but that was fine because the pancakes were not eatable. They were horrible. I also had a biscuit with sausage gravy and the gravy tasted burnt also. I'd like these guys to clean the grill and issue me a refund.

Nice place, and clean. They made the place festive for Halloween. We had mozzarella sticks and they were mediocre. Wife had the patty melt and was really happy with it. I had the stuffed hasbrowns with ham and cheese. It wasn't too bad. The saddest part of the meal was we got pancakes which by the way are pretty big so you prolly only need one. But the pancakes were good looking and fluffy. They just had no taste. Might just be us but that's what we thought. Overall it was OK and service was alright but there was no one else so not sure how it is when they are under pressure. We will probably not be back for breakfast but might try again for dinner if we are tired of everything else in Angelo.
