Huck Finn's On the Water - American restaurant in La Crosse - 129 Marina Dr, USA

Had dinner outside by the marina so view was great with the water and bluff on the other side, we even had a riverboat in the background. Service was good, but we weren't offered refills on drinks. Food was good. I had ribs with 2 sides, (salad not pictured). Ribs were not all as "fall off the bone" as I'd anticipated, and there were some bone fragments as well. The sauce had good flavor but was very sweet and rich, which some love but not my favorite. For the price I had higher expectations. I would recommend Huck Finns to try. The others in my party were pleased with their food.

Nice clean restaurant. Excellent view. Fast friendly service. The food was great. I had the broiled shrimp it was excellent. Jim had the surf & turf it was really good. Enjoyable dining experience would definitely recommend.

Met up with some friends for lunch recently on a Thursday and the ribs were the menu special so I tried them. They were very tasty and as advertised, falling off the bone. I was, however, expecting a little larger serving for the price but excellent flavor none-the-less. Waitress was pleasent. Nice river view. All in all a great lunch.

Everything was ok, but nothing was outstanding. The server did her job adequately. The food was fine. The waterfront view was nice, but the surrounding docks were a little messy.

Nice relaxing atmosphere next to the marina. Brought water and treats out for our dog right away! Food was excellent, had the cornmeal catfish. Very friendly service. Thank you! 🐕

Stopped on the way home from WIAA State track meet. 2 Daughters w/husband's with us. Surf & Turf $31, Surf & Turf. $30, Pool 8 Bacon & Cheese Burger $17, Parmesan Garlic Chicken $15, Friday Cod $19,Black River BBQ Ribs $25, 2 Sampler Baskets $19 each, Cheese Curds $12, 4 Soda & 2 Ice Tea $3.29 each, Ice Cream Sundae $3, 2 Carmel Turtle Ice Cream Drinks & a Grasshopper $7.50 each and a double Drambui on the rocks $11.25. Bill total $257 + tip. The food was exceptionally good but one steak was well done instead of medium well. It was still quite good. Service was attentive, polite and even funny! Nice Girl "Emma U!" Seats by the windows over looking the water and the interior nicely decorated. We had a very nice time!

The food was very flavorful. Great atmosphere both inside and out on the patio. Pet friendly and the servers were great!

Really cool place on the river. Has a marina with tons of boats. Nice outdoor seating as well as indoor. Food overall was good, but I'd recommend staying away from the steak on steak night special... it was pretty flavorless and not cooked to order. The shrimp, walleye, chicken and calamari the rest of our group had was good though. The live music on the patio was also pretty cool.
