Hoyt House Bed & Breakfast - Bed & breakfast in Fernandina Beach - 804 Atlantic Ave, USA

Even though I’ve been a life long resident of Florida and live less than two hours away, I’ve never been to Fernandina Beach. So when I planned a long weekend away for me and my mom for her birthday, the first place I thought of that wouldn’t be too tiring to drive to and too far away, as well as someplace I’ve never been, was Fernandina. This was such a quaint beach town. The Hoyt House was amazing. We loved everything about it. Decent price, the breakfast was amazing, the happy hour was fun to socialize. The room was so comfortable and clean. While it is January, I do wish the weather would have allowed us to use the pool and jacuzzi, however, we made the most of it and sat on the beautiful porch to enjoy a quiet book. My mom and I will definitely be back. I would also love to bring my husband too at some point in the future. One last thing to add: this was my mom’s first time staying at a B&B vs a hotel. She is sold now and will probably choose to stay at B&B’s in the future.

The Hoyt House is such a special place, starting with the owners Jaime & Todd and their staff. Everyone's so friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere and decor speaks to the history of the property, with the great care given by the owners. The Wadleigh room was perfect for the two of us. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows -- a bit firm for me, and the linens, towels were luxurious. Most important, everything was exceptionally clean! The breakfast, prepared by Todd, was delicious & plenty. You didn’t walk away hungry. Plus the charcuterie board I ordered for our arrival, prepared by Jaime, was wonderful and huge. Six people could enjoy it. Must mention the complimentary wine & beer happy hour -- a treat, hosted by bartender Gary, who's a good listener and conversationalist. We would definitely come back to the Hoyt House!

The welcoming staff and owners exceeded my expectations. The house was immaculate. Iv stayed and many B&B's, but this one can not be missed. Every attention to detail in the room ( cookie and water at the bedside) to the lovely amenities in the bath( including poop spray). The lovely breakfast and coffee/ tea bar was wonderful. It's location is easy to walk downtown to restaurants and shops. I cannot wait to come back!!

From the moment I made the reservation the Hoyt House was quickly responsive and accommodating to all of our special request and needs. Upon arrival Jamie provided a tour of the house including the history as well as the location of everything we might want or need.We had special dietary needs for breakfast and Todd met those needs and made us a delicious breakfast each day. We really enjoyed the social hour and our conversations with Gary. We will definitely be back.

Lovely B&B unless you stay in the front corner bedroom during the week. Constant log trucks went by at all hours of the day and night. Besides that, all good. Breakfast was excellent, supplied bikes, coffee, tea, cookies, water, pool towels etc. Lovely back yard pool and cabana to sit by. Location close to town - walkable. Nice B&B - owners were there and lovely to chat with at the open bar in the early evening.

The Hoyt House is everything you're looking for in a Bed & Breakfast and more! Not only is it beautiful inside and out, but the owners Todd and Jamie attend to every detail of your stay to make sure it is comfortable and enjoyable. There is a delicious breakfast served each morning and complimentary happy hour at the pub in the early evening. The bartender Gary is amazing! Definitely enjoyed the pool and hot tub each evening and the water temperature was just right! Definitely look forward to coming back!

Everything about the facility was great: location, convenient parking, updated television & wi-fi, electronics charging. But, the hospitality stood out. Jamie was decorating every room for the holidays, Todd created amazing breakfasts, and Gary hosted happy hour. We stayed four nights and every breakfast was unique - they track each quest's breakfast to make sure they don't duplicate during your stay.

We went for our anniversary last week. The weather could have been better, but The Hoyt House was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfect! Our room, along with the rest of the house was wonderful and very clean with a very comfortable bed and the softest linens. The owners were very helpful and informative. The breakfast was delicious. The best getaway, and we hope to be back someday. Highly recommend!
