Clearly a 10 out of 10 ⭐️ I stayed with my sister at Howzit for almost 2 weeks and had a wonderful time. The staff gave us local tips and an unforgettable time with the daily tours. Everyone is so friendly and open that we immediately felt as if we were part of the family. This allowed us to switch off and enjoy Maui to the fullest. The rooms, lobby and kitchen were clean and spacious. The lobby in particular was the place to be to meet new people. Best part: every morning we got free coffee and pancakes made by the stuff - loved it (and thanks to Daria for the heart shaped pancake) 🤍 The location of the hostel also made me feel like I was living in Maui for a short time, as you are right in the middle of the local happenings and not on the beach with a promenade like in a resort. All in all, I can only recommend the Howzit Hostel to anyone - the staff make you feel welcome from the very first second and you can enjoy Maui a bit like a local 🫶🏼
Great hostel. Many ppl from different countries. Also they offer tours to the main spots in Hawaii. All included in the price. Very convenient for low budget traveller's. We rent a car so we did our own tours. But I heard from other that the trips are very fun.
A true hostel experience! I had so much fun making new friends going on amazing adventures! I would have loved to stay longer or even volunteer to work there if I could! The atmosphere is just something else!! Mahalo to Kara and Bruno of the amazing trips you led !
Howzit was an amazing hostel. It is very social, safe, clean, and has amazing staff. Their tours are super fun and well organized and all the guides were great. Pablo was my guide for most of my tours and he was wonderful. Very happy I chose howzit for my stay in Maui
I stayed for four nights with my brother and we had a great experience! The facilities were very nice and the staff were constantly making sure they were clean and adequate. The rooms are a bit small, but the AC and fans work really well. Climbing onto the top bunks were a bit harsh for the feet and they made noises but that was just the nature of bunk beds I guess. All the staffs were really nice. They have tours everyday for hostel guests to sign up and we hopped on a van to Iao Valley, it was gorgeous. The bus stop was nearby and easy to get on, highly recommend doing it if you don’t have a car.
The crew is really cool, helpful and organize free activities or tours every day. The Karaoke night and bbq night are the highlights of the week at the hostel! The living room is really great everyone get to know each other really quickly around the main table, big sofa, baby-foot or the pool table, which is a nice touch ! Rooms and bathroom are clean, big enough. The kitchen is complete with everything you need. Definitely the best hostel I visited so far, difficult to beat it for that price ! Shaka and Mahalo !
During my visit to Maui, I had the opportunity to stay at the Howzit Hostel. I am extremely grateful for my experience at this place! The staff is truly amazing - they score a perfect 10/10 in all aspects. They are clean, welcoming, and friendly. I am so happy that I chose Howzit Hostel for my stay! If you want to have a fun, friendly, and adventure-filled stay, you need to book at Howzit! Amazing staff, super cool vibes, great location for going around, clean rooms and all of the facilities. There are also trips offered by the hostel and a free pancake breakfast. The staff really makes this hostel amazing, and all the fellow travellers! Highly recommend! :)
