The food was great!!! Great flavor, hot, and good portions! They had the best potato skins we have ever had! We will definitely be back next time we are in town! We stopped in for lunch and had a friendly waitress & host… great food… and a beautiful view! 😄

If you like mushrooms, go for their fried mushrooms appetizers, super delicious. The salad was huge serving its good for 2 people. While the porterhouse 28 Oz steak for 54 bucks good for 2 people melted in our mouth in every bite. Asked the local, and this restaurant is recommended. It didn't disappoint us. We came back the next day for the fried mushrooms, bloody Mary, and tried their appetizers plate. Hey , taters skin is delicious as well.

We were fortunate enough to notice they opened a little earlier on Thanksgiving morning. We walked right in and were immediately served. Ten minutes later there was a line out of the door. The service was great and the traditional Thanksgiving meal was very good. We left happy and very full.

Loved the food. You can sit outside and enjoy the ravine sounds. There’s a guy offering to take a pic of you and give a free postcard in return. That part is true but he’ll also try to sell you more photos for 20$ each.

Our first lunch in Gatlinburg couldn’t have been any better. Even with the chilly temperature, they allowed us Floridians to enjoy the outdoor seating which was beautiful as it was overlooking a running creek. Beer was serviced nice and cold. We just tasted the appetizers and both the steak strips and fried catfish was delicious and well prepared. Staffs were also super friendly. Definitely recommend this place as I believe this is also the oldest restaurant in Gatlinburg.

We just picked this restaurant last minute, and I am glad we did. The food was great , especially the steak.I really like the onion rings. The salmon was good as well. Definitely recommend it. 👌

Food was good, Presentation was fair. Plate could have had a little greenery add, for looks @$39 .plus a plate. Our server was absolutely spectacular. 👍💯 Double check, your specs on how to prepare your steaks, to there specification. I asked for medium, it came out medium rare. But, I ate it. It was still tasty. I should have sent it back, totally my fault. I'll know better next year..👍

Staying in Gatlinburg we wanted to dine at some well known restaurants, one being Howard’s. We were welcomed in by the staff and they honored our request of asking to set outside where the creek was. Being seated the waiter came out, took our orders, and within 15 minutes food was brought out. Food was served warm and well prepared. No further comments there. Our waiter provided us the water pitcher as they noticed our larger group. My very minimal complaint that doesn’t change my overall rating is, I wished they could have removed our plates sooner as they crowded the table until the check was provided. Overall, I would provide recommendation to this restaurant with their amazing service and food!
