This is where you want to be! This hotel is clearly run by a man who takes pride in what he does! On our first night, we were way past our capacity for stress and he did everything possible to help simply because he could see we were having a rough time without even knowing why. The rooms are incredibly inviting and cleaner than any place I've ever stayed. The pool gave us a wonderful place to relax after a hard week and every inch of this hotel is beautiful, clean and inviting. I can honestly say this is the best sleep I've had and the most relaxed I've felt in weeks! One more note, I saw some comments about the 100.00 deposit and while I understand the frustration it's important to know why. People keep smoking in the rooms despite several posts and a front desk warning. The process of getting that smell out and removing nicotine stains from walls is grueling and expensive. That deposit is designed to keep others from ruining your stay with leftover odors and damages caused by burning cigarettes. I hope some day this will stop being a problem so they keep this hotel as beautiful and clean as it is now!

1. The new manager requires a deposit of $100. My actual room cost was $80 that’s absurd. 2. We were battling flying roaches throughout the night. 3. You can hear everything the next room says in the bathroom. I mean CLEARLY 4. The room advertises that you can purchase “the amenities” because they’re so loved but the prices are almost 200% the current retail value AND some of the items are inherited or maybe stolen from other establishments. The iron in our room clearly says property of Red Roof Inn. We loved this hotel and had stayed many times in the past. Will NEVER EVER stay again. My husband said he saw that it was under new management and I am not a fan of the changes.

I had a nice week long stay. For the price that I paid the service was good (not fancy, but good) and what I expected. Breakfast is better during the weekend, that the week days. I noticed many families stayed with their children in this hotel. The pool was very useful for the children.

Rooms are cheap here for a reason. So many things broken, rooms are dirty and moldy smelling, only 1 employee of the 5 I interacted with spoke good English and only 2 of the 4 others spoke broken English at all. Key card malfunctioned a lot, pool isn't big enough for more than 2 adults to enjoy and that is even pushing it and was dirty as well. Do not recommend at all.

Title: A Night of Disappointment: A Review of Howard Johnson by Wyndham --- My stay at the Howard Johnson by Wyndham was nothing short of a nightmare. From the abysmal customer service to the lackluster breakfast and appalling room conditions, every aspect of my experience left much to be desired. Let's start with the customer service. Upon arrival, I was greeted by indifferent staff who seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than assisting guests. My inquiries about nearby attractions were met with vague responses, and any attempts to address concerns were brushed off with an air of disinterest. It was evident that customer satisfaction was not a priority for the staff. As for the breakfast, it was a complete letdown. The limited selection consisted of stale pastries, cold eggs, and watery coffee. The dining area was unkempt, with dirty tables and overflowing trash bins. It was clear that no effort was made to provide a pleasant dining experience for guests. Now, let's talk about the room. The moment I stepped inside, I was hit with a foul odor that permeated the air. The air conditioning barely worked, leaving the room uncomfortably warm and stuffy. To make matters worse, I was greeted with the sight of dead cockroaches scattered on the floor, a disturbing and unsanitary welcome to say the least. Overall, my experience at the Howard Johnson by Wyndham was utterly disappointing. From the lack of attentive customer service to the subpar breakfast and appalling room conditions, it's safe to say that I will not be returning anytime soon. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for accommodations. Lastly check your rooms and any thing that looks out of place/ not in plain sight for they may be hidden cameras ( protect your children!)

Positive: The front desk guy was cool. Negative: Shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty in shower. Pool was dirty and looked nothing like photos. Chair in room was broken.

Do not recommend. The toilet was dirty, the cover was stained, the pillows are lumpy, the headboard hasn’t been dusted since who knows when. And the toilet is disgusting…among many other things. There was very little effort put forth to make sure the room was clean.

Positive: THE ROOM WAS AVAILABLE ON TIME WITH NO PROBLEMS! Negative: THE HOTEL WAS CLEAN AND MEET ALL OF MY EXPIRATIONS. VERY PROFESSIONAL AND HELPFUL MEMBERS!
