I recently stayed at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Salem Hotel & Conference Center and I had an exceptional experience. The room was special and beautifully appointed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. It was immaculately clean, with all the amenities one could need for a pleasant stay. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. A special mention goes to the manager, Mr. Ali, who was exceptionally helpful. He answered all our questions during check-in with a warm smile and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Thanks to the excellent service and wonderful accommodations, I will definitely be returning here on my next visit. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an excellent experience. Howard Johnson... offers clean, spacious rooms equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met promptly. The conference facilities were top-notch, making it an ideal location for business events. Additionally, the convenient location provided easy access to nearby attractions and dining options. THE VIEW :) to the mountains was breathtaking!!! Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travellers.

Nice location if you have a vehicle. Nothing close to walk to. Breakfast is not very good. Room is very old. Walls peeling. Toilet loose on floor. Not very clean. Found old condom in drawer. A good housekeeper would have found that. Missing sink stopper which risks loss down drain. Towels very thin and stiff. Would be easy to fix all this stuff. Hopefully they do. Also seems to have a larger portion of people " living" here - possible full-time? The concrete of the building is crumbling outside. Office did not have quarters for laundry even though we asked 2 days in a row. We needed to do laundry and ended up using bathroom sink!

I highly recommend this motel! It is conveniently located off I-81, and off the main road so you can relax. The owner runs a great motel and the entire staff is professional and friendly. The pool is large and well maintained. The building itself is well kept 24/7 but the views of the mountains are the best selling point. Whether you are here for vacation , business, or any reason, you can relax here in a safe environment with 100% confidence.

2 stars instead of 1 because selection was based on price and location, both were great. Also very quiet Could have been cleaner Hot breakfast heavily advertised but not available this morning, maybe because Sunday, but they could have mentioned that. Biscuits, bagels, no butter or jelly, that was it

The location is ALL that gets a rating. Why, because out of all hotels i stayed at. This one is a JOKE. There are closets bigger than that bathroom. Toilet needs HELD down to actually GO down. Theres no phone to call if you need anything. The front desk guy gave my friend more towels, whyd it have HIS hair clumped in it. A LITERALLY clump! Theres only 2 outlets. Need more book another hotel. Actually just book somewhere else. May cost more. But wont have any of this

Unbelievably bad experience. We booked through a 3rd party app and the pictures looked amazing. The pictures are not from this hotel or if they are then not this century. The hotel is very run down and has not been repaired in a long time. The room we were assigned was disgusting - not vacuumed, a screwdriver in the wall. Pieces of moulding falling off. And the smell. We went to the front desk to tell the host (who was indifferent) we were not staying. luckily managed to get a refund from the 3rd party app. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

⚠️⚠️⚠️This place should be torn down, all the reviews where they said the room smelled were correct we checked in and almost threw up had to clean our bathroom ourselves I wish I could post pics. Drug deals all over needles and syringes the breezeway with blood. Stay away from this place. Windham take your name off of this place quickly! I complained to the desk clerk last night she told me the manager would be in at 7 i came in the next morning to speak with the manager and was told that we were to check out at 11 and would not be permitted to extend our stay . I'm not making this up the rooms on the front side are more than the back side by $10 because of the view as told by the Hispanic lady who I spoke with this morning, also no phones in rooms on the back side this place is a dump I have pics to prove it omg Windham has stooped to sneak all time low by putting their name on this place. All the good reviews are from the rooms in the front, the ones you have to pay $10 more to occupy. Warning⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ stay away from this dump
