I stay here a few days a month on average. The staff is helpful and friendly. Rooms are descent for the price its relatively quiet. Some rooms could use paint touched up on repaired wall areas. Most bathrooms don't have a heat lamp installed in the bathroom / shower area. The location and friendly staff make this return place.

I stayed here from 6/22-7/5/24 and checked out on 7/5/24 a friday morning. I had done. A weekly rate during my stay I was charged 2 different rates each time. Also they charged me on 7/3/24 $108 for a one day rate. I disputed it with my bank they had to cancel my debit card, on 7/5 they charged the same rate again, and it's been since 7/5/24 they haven't released my $100 deposit. Every time I call they have different answers, the room was not what we expected, a man walked into the property twice with a machete in his pouch, a smell in the bathroom that wouldn't go away. And the whole staff looked like they were on drugs. Never could get a right answer from them. I'm still waiting for my deposit to be released or they say "Cash App" still hasn't released it. CA tells me the hotel has to release the hold. We left the room clean, did our own cleaning I asked housekeeping to come three times they never did. Don't rent here they are scammers. Going back and forth with their manager who they have to call or email never a resolution. Make sure you have Lysol, and sandals in the room we never walked without our sandals the carpet was so gross. This place was a nightmare but we stayed bc it was the only decent motel around that fit our budget unless we paid $800 week at motel 6.

One of the best rooms I ever rented so far! Having a kitchenette was 10x more enjoyable with a home cook meal while being in your home! TV’s just need to be a little bigger

I got a flat on I-5 on a Tuesday night (after 5). Since I couldn't drive too far on a donut tire, we called a few places, but they were full. This was the first place that was open. I was glad about that. When checking in, the front desk person was polite enough and offered recommendations for the tire repair. After we got into the room, we realized that 2 bath towels weren't enough (friend has long hair requiring more than one). I walked back to office and was promised that he would walk some over shortly after 9pm. Another item: The office is closed at 9 and opens at 10am. We waited for over 20 minutes before leaving to get something to eat (both of us were very hungry). When we returned, we found the coffeemaker wasn't clean and there weren't any towels delivered (or notes about them). We decided to watch tv. We only got snow. After calling office, we did get the same person, I think, he stated that they had already called the cable company and they would be out the next day. I called the cable company myself and (on their instructions) reset the box (5 times), still didn't work. Overall, this is the first time I've stayed at a Howard Johnson motel. It won't be my first choice next vacation. I may stay at a Wyndham, but not HJ. 8/11: The front desk person, Emma ( Ithink), did give us a 10% discount after I mentioned the issues (esp tv).

The hotel is good for its price. but be cautious for its dirty fraud. we stayed one night over there and left at 7am before the office was open and dropped the key in the box. but later, they charged us extra $50 and said there is a damage on the blanket. WHAT??

I stayed here and have seen several rooms passing through Roseberg and I can tell you that this is one of the cleanest, cheapest, chain hotels (franchise), where you won’t have to worry about bedbugs, day service will get you anything you need, and the owner Mohit and staff make everything staying here a pleasure to do business with them. Will stay again.

Friendly staff, but rooms show wear and tear. Used needles left in the parking lot and graffiti let you know that the local crackheads leave little unspoiled.

Positive: Nothing Negative: Hotel was so dirty blood all over bathroom walls glad I brought my own sheets they had yellow stains all over the shade on the window was covered in black mold. They had no other rooms they said. Bathroom tub had mildew all over as well. Negative: ""
