Reserved here based on reviews which led me to believe the motel would be better. The woman at the front desk was nice. It is in older motel which does not bother me. We arrived at night and they area seemed a little sketchy but looked a bit better in the daytime. The bed was ok but the pillows were a bit odd to me. The room was painted a nice color and bathroom looked like it had been updated. But the toilet leaked, the vanity and base boards were warped, sink basin was cracked. Also there was no hot water for the shower in the morning. Also the walls are paper thin and you can hear the neighbors TV like it's on your room. They seem to bed trying but not there yet.

Obviously for the price this is not a premium motel but for my needs it was pretty good. I stayed previously in motel 6 and after staying here I realized the mistake I had made. Here they clean your room daily and replace the towels, something the previous motel did not do, and there was somebody around to answer my needs. The location is good for walking around to either a restaurant or a store. No need to drive just to get a bite to eat. The area was fairly quiet at night. Being in summer I had to keep the window air conditioner running almost all the time but it didn't bother me while sleeping. Actually I had to turn up the temperature to keep from getting chilly a couple of times. For the money and the location this is pretty good.

Stayed here one night during a trip to Death Valley. Was looking for a budget room and this fit the bill. Room was small but adequate with a queen bed, fridge, microwave and DirecTV. Shower looked renovated and was attractive. Parking in front of room. We walked to a restaurant in the strip mall next door. Walgreens and other restaurants and stores nearby. Good value for the price.

New ownership obviously making the effort to make this sleepy little motel a great place to stay for any reason. Rooms are small, but remodeled very nicely, comfortable, cozy, and perfect for a visit to Death Valley and surrounding area. I interacted with with one person who basically runs/manages this motel and she is super easy to work with and very accommodating. This is not a chain motel, privately owned and none of the b.s. of a chain. To explain vaguely, I had a situation arise, and the manager was so nice to me and helped me out very much. Highly recommend a stop here if you are looking for great value. Also, a very lovely and rustic diner attached/adjacent to the hotel called Midway. Great option for breakfast or lunch for very reasonable price.

Motel authentique avec un rapport qualité prix imbattable. Nous avons eu la chance d’être surclassé dans une plus grande chambre et effectivement celle-ci était immense. La chambre est très bien équipée avec micro-ondes et frigo. Le monsieur à l’accueil était très gentil et de bon conseil. Effectivement la décoration est un peu vieillotte et les intérêts de la ville sont limités mais pour une étape c’est parfait.

We made our reservations prior to the trip. Upon arrival check in was quick and easy. Our room key would not open the door and it was decided the battery was low in the handle. No problem we got a different room and all was good. No problem, quick and easy fix. The entrance to the motel is right off the main drag but the layout kept road noise to a minimum. The parking lines in the lot are nice and wide and you can park right in front of your door. Don't let the cinder block construction throw you off. Typical, solid construction practice from years ago. The inside walls of the room are paneled and you would never know the walls were cinder blocks. Better environmental control and quieter. The room was neat and clean. A little on the small side, but we were just sleeping there for the night. The bedding was clean and fresh and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was small but equipped with everything you needed. Towels were fresh and clean. The motel is in a shopping area and we felt very safe walking around after dark. There is a very nice Japanese restaurant right across the street with crossing signals on the lights. Check out in the morning was easy. We just packed the car and left the keys on the bed. If you are looking for a nice, clean, safe place to stay in Ridgecrest do not even think twice about getting a room at the Budget Inn and Suites. This place is a terrific bargain. Great place to stay. Very good value for the money. Clean room and recently remodel. Past reviews are bad, but there under new management. Felicia at the front desk was very nice and very helpful. The have a little way to go, but very soon, there going to be one of the best places to stay in town. The only downside, no fresh coffee available 😫. But I'm sure they will have it soon. I will definitely stay here again if I'm in the area. I definitely recommend this place.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The reviews state clean rooms and newly renovated but that is only SOME of the rooms. The room I received was supposed to be a double and according to the pictures on hotels.com it looked nice but that it not what I got at all! The bed was slightly bigger than a twin, there was mold in the bathroom, electrical wires taped together, what looked like pee on the door and floor, and the furniture was ripped. When I spoke with the front desk regarding the room being barely livable and not renovated she stated "NOT ALL OF THE ROOMS ARE RENOVATED and you get what you paid for" such a poor response from a front desk receptionist but I guess a poor hotel comes with poor service. So I repeat DO NOT STAY HERE! Spend the extra money to be in a hotel that is not a POS.
