Howard Johnson by Wyndham Pasadena - Hotel in Pasadena - 1599 E Colorado Blvd, USA

I enjoyed a wonderful 8-night stay at the Howard Johnson Pasadena! The hotel is located right across the street from Pasadena City College with many restaurants within walking distance and easy access to the bus system and car service. Every member of the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful with a wide range of amenities and excellent wifi. The great complimentary breakfast buffet, outdoor pool, and gardens were much appreciated. I highly recommend this hotel!

This place is great. Very clean and location is awesome. The A/C worked great too and we were there when it was 96 outside. |They have a free breakfast which was nice. |We will be back very soon to stay again. Highly recommend. The owner is very nice and very accommodating too!

It used to be better. It even had a spa. Nowadays the pool area is not really appealing. The rooms are spacey and housekeeping are really nice. The people at the front desk were nice too. The area they must improve extensively is the breakfast. It was terrible, specially compared to the Saga hotel (right across the street, at similar price).

My friend and I stayed in a 2-bedroom suite and were happy to find this accommodation at such a good price. The suite had a microwave and a frig, a TV in each room, free WiFi (of course!). Everything was clean and the place was quiet. (Room was toward the back of the property.) Good location as far as restaurant choices. Front desk staff helping us book and then at checkout were friendly and helpful.||We passed on the free breakfast. The coffee was Meh and the food choices were cheap carbs. Packaged pastries and ramen noodles. (We didn't expect anything better.) Fortunately, there's a great breakfast place called Andy's Coffee Shop just a few blocks away.

Such a perfect spot for families! Great area and always amazing customer service from Tommie. Close to Huntington Library and many other Pasadena attractions. Really enjoyed stay. Pool and free breakfast was a plus!!

The room was OK, the check in was a little slow. Some of the toiletries were empty, but I caught the maid outside my room one day and asked for a refill. My main concern was that they issued another key to someone while I was still staying in the room. As a woman traveling alone, it was jarring to have a family just walk right into my room, of course right as I was getting out of the shower. Thankfully they left when they heard me. The front desk called and just said, "we thought you checked out." I told them I was obviously here. They said OK and hung up. There was never an apology, and they didn't even acknowledge it when I did check out. I will never stay here again, and I don't recommend others doing so.

Tomme at the hotel was very kind and super accommodating. He helped us check in early and allowed us to visit the breakfast the morning we got there before check-in. He was professional and extremely helpful, thank you Tomme! Also the rooms were extremely clean. The building and the rooms are a little dated, but then cleanliness of the rooms and the comfort of the bed made up for it. It was extremely refreshing to stay at the hotel and I got a good night sleep and I feel very well rested.

Rooms are fine but the air container in the adjoining room was not working. Overall we will stay there again. Front desk clerks need to smile and make guest feel like they want to stay there. They seems too strict!!
