Do not recommend this hotel.
The hotel property is not clean, and feels unsafe. Our room wreaked of a moth ball smell. The hotel smelled of pot. The bathroom was dirty (hair in the tub and in the towels). The shower pressure was a trickle (although the water was hot). The toilet was broken and had to be jimmied to refill after each flush. There was a spider on one of the pillows when we checked in. One of the lamp outlets didn’t word. One of the lamps didn’t work. The room was humid. And for all of this it was extremely overpriced.
Will definitely never stay at another Howard Johnson, and after this experience, we may never stay at any Wyndham hotel.
I would like to say I’ve had nothing but an amazing experience here at the Howard Johnson Hotel first and foremost the manager. John is a very nice professional older gentleman. He’s always there regardless of what’s going on with the schedules somebody you can count on also, I would like to, give recognition to the cleaning staff as well for doing a fabulous job. My only issue was early morning on July 23 the associate that was working over night shift up and left without telling the managers so that caused a little bit of ruckus within the guest due to Them not being able to talk with the front Desk clerk, but John came and saved the morning and made sure The continental breakfast was put out coffee was freshly brewed, as well as taking care of each guest with a smile on his face. Well done I will absolutely come back five star all the way keep it up guys.
I had the best stay 5 days at this hotel the room was clean the bathroom is clean they came in every morning and changed the sheets and the towels they vacuumed the staff was super friendly I would recommend this place highly
Positive: Nothing. Too dirty to check in. Need a refund Negative: Hotel was dirty outside & inside. People hanging out. Staff rude. No manager on site. People hanging from balconies. Grass messy& not manicured. Etc. undleepable
Absolutely DISGUSTING. Paid $170.00 for a sleezeball place. Hookers outside with pimps in cars blasting music. Room smells like smoke. No elevator. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Something is very wrong with this place.
Unless you are desperate, don’t recommend this place. Facilities were not well maintained (draining problem in sink, shower needed to be screwed back in, TV cable had to be screwed in and propped against something to connect) Most alarming was the sliding glass door that could not be locked from the inside, but a broken metal rod was to be used to “lock” the door. This door leads out to the parking lot and is not far from a busy highway.
I stayed here literally a whole day because i was just exhausted from being on the road. The service desk was very helpful and allowed me to get a room. The room was very nice, and clean as it should be. I will totally return it if I'm around the area. i sometimes go around there for work purposes.
The Howard Johnson has received many bad reviews. But frankly I don't see anything wrong with the facility. Yes, it's rather dated but that didn't affect my stay whatsoever. The staff was great and the whole hotel was clean and tidy. Our room was clean and comfortable. The shower was great. What else do you need in a place to stay? I would not hesitate one minute to stay here again, or recommend the Howard Johnson.
Only joined a few weeks ago and Iâm already hooked ! The coaches are amazing , the members are so welcoming and motivating. Such a great group of people at every class time. I actually enjoy and look forward to working out now. Worth every penny !
