Howard Johnson by Wyndham Fullerton Anaheim Conference Cntr - Hotel in Fullerton - 222 W Houston Ave, USA

My recent stay at the Howard Johnson Fullerton Hotel was unfortunately far from satisfactory. My husband is a disabled veteran, and we had specific expectations for comfort and accessibility, but the experience fell short in several significant ways. We also have a baby and his comfort was greatly affected.||First and foremost, the hotel was plagued by noisy and messy construction throughout our stay. All along the main Hallway, which we had to pass through anytime we were going to and from the room. This made it incredibly difficult to rest or relax, and put the baby down for a nap, especially given the level of disruption caused by the debris that was scattered everywhere. The air quality in the hotel was poor. Dusty and smelled musky of mold. One of the 2 sets of elevators were also out of operation throughout our stay, which was particularly challenging consideringy husbands mobility issues. We had to walk-through construction all the way to the back of the hotel, and around the corner. He had to navigate to the other side of the building to use the one and only operable elevators, or be forced to take the flights of stairs to my 4th floor room, which was both exhausting and inconvenient, Not to mention, it took a very, very long time to go back to the Lobby every time the key card wouldn’t work…||The swimming pool was closed for cleaning, but it was completely drained and looked decaying, so who knows the last time it was actually open, and while I understand that maintenance is necessary, the timing was disappointing. Additionally, there was a major issue with the water supply in the building; it was shut off for six hours, leaving us without basic amenities like clean water, showers and functioning toilets.||The overall cleanliness of the hotel left much to be desired. The property smelled of mold, which was quite off-putting and toxic. The carpets throughout the hotel were extremely dirty, further contributing to the unpleasant atmosphere.||To add to the list of grievances, we did not receive any room service during our stay. This lack of service was unexpected and exacerbated the other issues we were facing. We had to continuously go down to the main lobby a total of 4 times because our room keys were consistently getting demagnetized.||Given the multitude of problems experienced during our stay we experienced inconvenience, discomfort, and hazards endured throughout our stay, I hope that management will address these concerns to improve the hotel.

Please please do NOT stay here, we called the night before to make sure our reservation was good to go for us to find out that our second room was canceled with no notification about it. Short story we confirmed our first room and got another room at the holiday inn next door. Upon arrival turns out they also canceled our first room even with our confirmation email. At this point I lost it and was extremely upset. With them obviously trying to figure something out to do they decided to make us a priority and Cancel someone else’s reservation to accommodate us. That’s awful!!!!! We all decided to go to the holiday inn which is much cleaner and such a better service! The worst hotel on the planet

Positive: Staff! Front desk is super. They are courteous, professional and friendly. I have to mention hotel employee who knew what we needed before we tell. All crew were great people. They were professionals and make you feel safe and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent! Negative: None!

Customer service and room was great and loved the fact that we came out to go to Disneyland and to find out they had a free shuttle ride there. Didn’t need any room service but to see it available was also a good thing and the free breakfast had some good options to choose from, our toilet had a small leak by it but nothing to get all worked up over I just put the shower towel down and it did the job. I will definitely be back.

This is not good hotel as it appears in website. 1. Noise from freeway during nighttime as your room windows are facing freeway side. Difficult to sleep if you are sensitive to sleep. 2. Single King size beds are okay but double beds are not good for comfortable sleep. I would like to share my experience. Some time my phone were rings when I picked up there was no body on other side. It was strange experience for me, but I never try to figure why. Does anyone experienced the same?

Several maintenance deficiencies. Hotel looks from old 90’s. Smells odd, moisture… I only saw 1 cockroach, I killed it in ice machine area and it kept there 3 days. Room 400 was clean. Pool and 1 of the elevator out of service. Not the best place to stay, but is cheap. Breakfast 2/5 stars. Has shuttle to Disney Price: 5 stars Location: 3.5 stars (from Disney) Clean: 2.5 stars

Overall the stay was nice. You can tell that they are remodeling through out the hotel. The only thing I would mention is that, I had to ask for a refrigerator ( which came quickly) the coffee maker was leaking water out the bottom. So I had coffee only in the breakfast lounge during the hours of 630 am-930am. Other than that it was ok.

Definitely not a 3 star hotel. Pictures online are deceiving. The whole place is run down. Carpets are filthy, room was dirty. The side doors entering the hotel are not locked, so safety is a huge concern. Main elevator did not work. Pool and spa are closed and torn up. There were signs posted that the water would be turned off on our second day. The tiles are buckling in the entrance to the staircase. The whole place smells old and musty. Cracks in the ceiling, wallpaper hanging off the walls, etc. No microwave or refrigerator in the room as advertised. The parking lot and surrounding grounds had a lot of homeless. Not a good place for families. Needless to say, we checked in and checked out the same evening and went to another hotel. Howard Johnson is falsely advertising this place and will not refund our money.
