Hova House - Lodge in Elizabeth - 1065 North Ave, USA

I love this place. It was a little world of happiness I could visit whilst I journeyed through some of my darkest days. It's pretty dismal living on an abandoned school bus. I'd book a few days here a couple times a month when fates allowed. I could take off homeless clothes and would dress up in humanity again. Cosy rooms distinctively furnished and staged for appeal. Clean stocked kitchen and luxury bathroom arraignment. Truly a unique and beautiful place and I'd recommend you visit. CHEAP!!!!

Accidentally booked for the next day instead of for next year on booking.com. Ask for a change of date, or cancellation. Both were declined. I was also asked to pay a $78 cancellation charge even though the room was less than this. Poor customer service and care gives it a 1 star.

The room is so small and dirty, heater does not function already complain to the landlord but very slow response and doesnt check until we checked out.

Close to the airport. Bus stop to NYC is right next to the house. Clean. Comby bed. Bonus point: the fresh towel and linens smelled super nice. Con: it's a bit chilly. No heating

The room was paid for a triple, but they gave a small room with one bed. The room was in another building, to which it was necessary to walk another 200 meters. Breakfast, which was also paid for and included in the price, was not provided!

False advertising!||--It says that breakfast is included. There is NO breakfast. Only stale cereals, but no milk, no yoghurt, no coffee, no tea, no bread, no cups or cutlery to use||--The room we booked was supposed to be for 4 people, but was small even for 2.||--Beds are the most uncomfortabble thing I came across in my whole life. Matrimonial bed had this plastic protection which feels terrible and sounds even worse and the bed suddenly broke under our heads while we were sleeping! I can´t even find the words to describe the sofa AKA 3rd bed; it was made out of 2parts wide app. 50 cm each. One was firm as a wooden plank, the second was made of extremely soft cushions which formed perfectly uneven surface.||-When we looked under the bed there was unwrapped condom and tons of dust||-There was AC turning on and off during the night which provided smell of a dead cat instead of cleaner air||-You can hear every single noise from the street||-When we asked if it´s possible to leave our luggae somewhere for 1or 2 hours, we were told we can leave it in the hallway. Where EVERYONE has access.||We didn´t feel safe, clean,rest nor welcome...never again

To be blunt, this is a crappy place from a shifty owner. He operates mainly on false advertising and prey on-out-of- town visitors who don't know any better. The refund policy should have been a warning sign for everyone to stay away!||I don't recommend even if you are desperate and need a place to stay. You can do better elsewhere - STAY AWAY!!!!!!

Lots of noise from others guests maybe host otherwise room was clean and so was bathroom. If it was not for the noise it would actually be okay. Very private.
