House Of Shish Kabob - Middle Eastern restaurant in Chatsworth - 10224 Mason Ave, USA

Me & my wife tried this place for the 1st time on Saturday night. Middle of the dinner rush & we were suprised to be the only dine in customers. They were doing a steady amount of take out and delivery (thru the apps) business tho. Nice lil spot. Clean. Cool pics on the walls. Mostly from back home. I especially liked the maps. Food takes time to come out. The menu warns u so if ur not willing to wait a lil bit for good food go somewhere else. Cause the food is good. At first the entrees seem a lil pricey but the food is really tasty and plentiful. Entrees come with a side salad & soup. U get pita bread and butter. It's a feast. The employees are nice & welcoming. Service is up to par. They made sure we didn't need anything else. Checked on us a couple times. Would definitely recommend this spot.

One of my friends recommended me to this persian restaurant, the restaurant was well decorated and very clean, the customer service was amazing, they were very welcoming and friendly, they helped me choose between the many persian dishes they have, With much help I finally decided to order the barg kabob , beef and chicken koobideh , and the chicken kabob, and three different types of rice. The food was amazing, the meats were very juicy and well prepared, most other restaurants make their food very salty but the food from here was perfect. In general I would highly recommend this restaurant if you want good quality and very delicious food.

The guy was nice. The food was average. I go.to many middle eastern, Persian restaurants, my great guru was Persian and introduced me to the fine cuisine. So I got to learn about what the food should p under taste

Unfortunately NOT Recommended! 4 times, they charged me HIGHER than their listed price in their menu. I went this restaurant 5 times. I checked my bank statement accidentally and I noticed this restaurant has charged me noticeably "higher" than their listed price in their menu for 4 times for the SAME order. Only 1 time they charged me fairly per their listed price for the SAME order (note that this 1 time I have been served with a nice lady and other 4 times by another person and note that my order for all 5 times was the SAME). I went and asked them about this up-charge, showed them my bank statement, but their respond wasn't satisfactory. They said we charged you for Dine-in fee (eating inside and for cleaning service fee). I told them and raise here too that I am curious to know: 1) How much is their service fee? If per their statement the service / dine-in fee is $4 to $5, still they charged me $15 to $20 higher than expected price each 4 times !!! 2) Why they don't tell customer in advance that they charge you for service / dine- in fee to be cleared in advance?? 3) They serve food ONLY in plastic /take away containers (no dishes/glasses be served for customers to be washed later as service fee) !! After discussing my questions with them, I haven't been convinced and they didn't even offer me to REFUND this 4 times up-charge cost ?! My mistake was my TRUST. My recommendation is to always ask for your "payment receipt" and ensure how much you should pay for your order BEFORE being served. Although their food and environment is good, but to respect my self and my family and other customers and to help this business reviewing their procedures and enhance their customer service, I put my review here. Hope it helps and never happen for someone else. The total up-charge money for my above story should be less than $100, but money doesn't matter to me as much as RESPECT and TRUST to each other! Food is always amazing and it is surpassed only by it's freshness and the great service. I have been coming here for years and it is truly a gem. I recommend it fully to those that love middle eastern or Persian food. Kabobs are made once ordered and are juicy and are flavorful.

As a proud father, after hours of reviews of other Persian restaurants, I decided to go with House Of Shish Kabab and I am so happy that I did that. My daughter’s wedding couldn’t be better due to the delicious food and excellent service. All guests were amazed by quality of foods, vegetables, and bakery. Prices were so much better than few other places that I checked. There is no question in my mind that I go with them for any upcoming events. The restaurant is also great with quality food and services. I took many of my American friends to the restaurant and they all loved it. We order foods for meetings in the company that I am working. Just try them out, you”ll be happy to experience the difference.

Amazing food, amazing service and their food all the time fresh I know this place for many years and for many years I went there of course at the cove it we can either, but we take to go, but their food always delicious and fresh some barbecue places they have a catering and they are using for the next day The same barbecue Dave warmer off but this place I never have a dad situation never all the time fresh and good food.
