The kabobs were well seasoned, juicy, and tender. The rice was alright but the roasted tomato on the side was amazing. Not popular to much with most of the orders being online leaving the inside empty, so you can eat alone but the owners were constantly checking on me which is alright. 10/10 would recommend if in the area
House of Kabobs is a small mom and pop shop in Sunnyvale. They have a small menu, but the kabobs are well marinated, juicy and tender! Please note the seasoning might be bit on the heavy side, so be ready to pair with some rice. The humus is great too, smooth, silky and flavorful. I will definitely come back for more kabobs.
A homely Persian restaurant in downtown Sunnyvale. It’s run by a friendly couple. We tried the platter with beef and lamb kebabs, chicken tikka and saffron rice. The meat was juicy and flavorful, especially the kebabs and went well with rice. The lavash with yogurt dip (with cucumber) was also tasty and the dip also paired well with rice and the meats. Rice was fragrant and fluffy. They have a roasted tomato on the side which enhances the flavor of the dish. Service was quick, meat is halal and portion sizes are large.
Excellent kebabs (a bit dry: order either of the excellent savory yogurt appetizers to use with it and that's fixed). Saffron rice doesn't taste saffrony at all but it's otherwise fine. Service is prompt and courteous though not very proactive (just ask for what you want and they'll likely help, but won't spontaneously offer; hence 4 stars, not 5,) some issues with tap-to-pay with phone, so you may need actual credit cards.
We stumbled upon this joint on our recent visit to Murphy Street, it was a Sunday n therefore Dish Dash was closed . We decided to look around n found this hidden gem. Food is amazing, homely environment. Highly recommend
We had a great outdoor dining experience here. Everybody enjoyed their food, adults and kids. It's a nice place to have a quiet meal and still enjoy the evening downtown.
It’s a great place for pickup persian food. You can seat in store as well but usually we order for pickup. Their food so delicious and fresh. I like the owner and their food
I have always liked the food at House of Kabobs, esp the Kabob Koobideh, Fesenjoon & Ghorme Sabzy. I’d also recommend the pistachio ice cream for a nice treat! The food is always fresh and tastes really good, whether ordered at the restaurant or through delivery. Today, I’d like to convey my special thanks to Ali and Nasreen of House of Kebobs for helping me host a nice get-together at the restaurant. I wanted a nicely decorated, halal place for a small gathering. Ali and Nasreen ensured that every request was fulfilled with great attention to detail and every guest was personally taken care of. I would highly recommend the place for a hearty Persian meal or hosting any private event. - Masroor & Saima

I recommend Chelo tea house for any small event you are thinking of hosting. We visited there for our family reunion last weekend. Maryam, the owner greeted us with a warm smile and took us to our table right away. The table was set with beautiful f
