I went to see teenage bottlerockett on September 15 and it was awesome. It was my first time seeing a show at the House of Independents,and the venue is great. Everyone from the security to the bartenders were really nice and really cool. I can't wait to see another show there. Oh and the entire place is super clean, including the bathrooms. Go check out some bands there, you won't be disappointed. One last thing, the sound there is top notch.
What an amazing spot. Reminds me of the gold old clubs in Philly but between the khyber and Troc size. Sound was great and it even got hot and stuffy just like I remember. Ah the good memories.
Awesome venue for intimate shows! Decent beer and full service bar. Prices aren’t bad either. Definitely a great overall experience.
Great small venue!! Very clean, great people working there and on the heart of Asbury Park, NJ. Got to see Fozzy there and even there we were towards the back you can't tell cause the venue is so cozy!! Hoping they keep putting more and more great acts there!! Definitely need more reasons to come back!!
Smaller venue. Great sound system. Need to walk downstairs to get to stage level. I did not see an elevator though I could be wrong. Get there early for a spot on the rail upstairs.
Love this venue- 2 bars on 2 floors, lots of space when the seats are away, comfortable seating when it's "open". Drinks are priced moderately. Staff is typically friendly, but this place books some incredible acts!! Many shows sell out quickly which is great for the musicians!! Sound is always great, too!!
Been to a bunch of shows at this venue, definitely one of the best places to see a show in Asbury. Always good sound, if you’re younger and want to mosh or be close to the band head down to the ground-floor level, if you’re older and want to hang out and watch from a distance hang out in the “loft” by the upper bar. The multiple bars are handy and the bathrooms are huge which is nice.
Really cool venue! Love the "deck" (which is actually ground/entrance floor) with the bar.
