It's a very good place to enjoy the beautiful,eye catching scenery. When we took pictures from all of the sites it came very true, mind blowing shot. Amazing colorful nature.
High bacteria in the water, excessively loud music, litter, and broken glass. It would be nice to get out and enjoy the nature of this place but its not necessarily the most peaceful place. The surrounding trails are a better experience.
A hidden gem right outside the city with a huge parking lot and a clean beach. There are several small trails and BBQ grills. I was full of life, a great place to go out for a picnic
Lots of activities to do.. play around the pond side beach. Play ground for kids. Swimming in the pond and changing rooms and standing shower stations. Large picnic area and obviously small trails in woods. I enjoy the birds in the marshland while family enjoys the beach areas. Nice and big parking lots.
When I need to recharge or just really want to get away from everything City this is my ESCAPE. There are 3 different difficulty paths that can be taken which are easily marked. The swimming area is located right in front of the lifeguard station. The water the water is worth the visit alone it so clear you can look down and see tiny crabs, tadpoles and fish. Each path is so well taken care of a cleared even after huge storms. There is also fishing and a park to play at. Many many bbq areas with safety bins for hot coals disposal. Everything about this pond is uplifting and relaxing fun.
Beautiful! Well kept. Dog friendly. Nice open paths and access to Blue Hills. Family friendly with many picnic areas and photo worthy views.
I don't recommend going there during pandemic as it is very crowded, but otherwise it is a nice l place to take a walk and to enjoy nature. Very pretty views not tiring at all.
Nice setting, nice little beach. However, in summer the beach and surrounding grounds become full of trash. And it stinks! Check out my photos

Beautiful place to cookout, picnic, or swim and play on the beach. Great place to fish too. Recently restocked Plenty of Fish including bass, trout! Love it here!
Great museum. There were live animals throughout which was a surprise, however their enclosures looked quite clean and well kept. Lovely to learn about these lil critters. Definitely kid friendly, lots to look at and read.
