Hotel Zion Inn Now RAMADA - Featured Reviews (527)
This does not seem like a real Ramada and does not meet its standard. It's a very old hotel which looks like a prison yard from the outside with renovated rooms which look decent once you're inside. The #1 problem is the cleaning staff broke in to my room unannounced by defeating the lock. I could have been changing clothes, sleeping, etc but they didn't knock or say anything, just tried to open the door aggressively. The security latch was locked from the inside and the man had to jiggle it many times before he was able to defeat it. I prefer motels that respect people's privacy and if they are offering to clean they announce their intentions or knock in a polite manner. Also, the managers kids are unsupervised and play in the lot by your car, riding scoters and throwing things close to your cars and I heard a noise and they might have hit mine. It doesn't make people feel like they nor their property is respected.
WANT TO STAY IN HELL??!!
Seeing other 1-star reviews from over a year ago that have the same complaints as me should tell you that they don’t care about addressing their problems. There was no baseboard in any part of the room and no attempt to clean up the mess when it was removed. The 80’s era mini fridge had 2-3 inches of ice built up around the freezer section. The door to the room had a gap so every time a slight breeze would blow down the hallway, the door would bang around. I used a piece of clothing to keep it from happening. There was mold/mildew in the bathroom and the bathroom door looked like it had been dragged behind a car for 20 miles. The one bedframe closest to the entrance door had part of the frame sticking several inches out and away from the bed itself. It was covered up by a corner of the bedspread, so not visible. My wife and I both destroyed our shins on this metal frame more than once.
Now for the kicker…We were supposed to stay 3 nights but couldn’t stand the place anymore, so left after 2 nights. We had 2 dogs with us, so we paid the pet fee ($120 for the 3 nights). After complaining to the desk about how bad the room was, I asked for a refund of the pet fee. He told me he would do $80, not the full $120. Well, after getting my credit card statement, it showed I only got $40 back. I called and asked what happened to the other $40. After about the 5th time they told me I only stayed 2 nights, not 3, and telling them that wasn’t the problem, I told them they lied to my face when they said I’d get $80 back. They argued with me for at least 10 minutes, but it was obvious I wasn’t going to get anywhere with them and told them I was going to dispute the charges. They said they didn’t care and “go ahead”. Completely horrible place to stay, completely horrible hosts.
I read low reviews, when I was looking for a hotel near Zion, I can't find another hotel so I just have no choice but to try this hotel. To my surprise, the room was fragrant. The room, sheets and bathrooms are clean. The only thing they need improving is the breakfast.
Very dirty, dusty, smelly, moldy and no appropriate handicap parking. Only saw two handicap spots and they were positioned the farthest from entrance of building. A certain number of handicap-accessible stalls are required based on the number of available parking slots in a facility or site. Not to mention, you don’t even have hot water. This place needs to be shut down until brought back up to code.
I’ll be reporting this matter to the ADA. And the uncleanlinesses will be reported to the health department. Don’t waste your money here as you won’t receive basic necessities and it’s extremely unsanitary. If you’re disabled, don’t even try it as it’s not ADA friendly at all.
The Ramada Zion hotel has a very strange design. Kinda like a prison yard. Very sketchy looking.
The best thing about this hotel was the affordable price. It is relatively close to Zion National Park. 25 min.
The room was nice and clean. There are few outlets, no USB hookups. The is a microwave, fridge, tv. Cheap coffee maker with terrible coffee.
Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The shower was walk-in with a pedestal sink.
The employees are great, but that’s it. And no bedbugs at least. The rooms are old, with paint patches, a dirty shower, and lackluster breakfast in the morning. Only stayed here out of necessity. Wouldn’t recommend willingly staying there.
We haved stayed in a lot of hotels in Las Vegas Utah Los Angeles this one has been one of the cleanest ones I haved stayed in the sheets looked clean that’s the most important for me the sheets. It doesn’t look nice from outside but when you go in the room it looks really nice. The guy that cleans was really nice and helpful they do a really good job cleaning. I would definitely stay here again I recommend it. There was no noise from other rooms or outside very peaceful. thanks for the service.
These guys do the best they can with what they have, I guess. If you don't have too high of standards, the rooms are passable. "Free Breakfast" is a bowl of fruit loops with warm milk, bad coffee and white bread for toast. Location is about the only thing that saves this place, the prices are okay too. Meh. You could do a whole lot better and you could do a lot worse.
We are locals to the area and were really interested in the concept of the silo being a livable structure and had to test it out. From the time we booked to check in everything was smooth and communication was great. Once we checked in the host was v
This is a great place to stay. The cabin was clean and comfortable. There is no direct contact with the staff but if you can read and follow directions it's pretty straightforward. It's more of a casual camp ground style situation. Cabins are well e
Everywhere is very clean and the breakfast is decent. Given the cheaper rate compare to other hotels 10-20 minutes closer to the park, we have 2 rooms internally connected and that makes all the difference(family of 5). Rooms are not very large but a
I just had my wedding, and about 60 to 70% of my guests stayed here.
They took great care when we did reservations. We got rooms next to each other so that family could be closer together. We had such a great time having family there, and had a good
One of the BEST vacation days I've ever had was a day spent canyoneering and rock climbing with Zion Amazing Adventures! Jared was great! Super patient, understanding, and accommodating! I am super cautious of my safety but he made me feel very safe
This place slaps, so many awesome flavor options. And you can get ice cream inside of your shaved ice, amazing. I got tiger blood (strawberry and coconut), ten out of ten!
This is a wonderful gem in La Verkin. The trails are gravel and go along the Virgin River. Not sure when the bridge was built, but it is less than 2 years old and leads to the other side of the river. Most times when I have been on this trail, Iâve
