Loved staying at Hotel Wolf. Great experience. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and no key for our room but popped across the street to the cantina and able to get help from the bartender who knew how to get ahold of someone. Our stay was superb. Will definitely be coming back for that old west small town feel. Highly recommended!! Would also like to try the dining and the bar next time.
A grand historic hotel in the middle of Saratoga surrounded by shopping and great restaurants. The rooms are all located above street level and a single set of stairs gets you to your room - there is no elevator in the hotel. We stayed in a suite which was quite large with a nice historic queen bed. Our room looked out onto the main street through town and traffic noise was apparent. Our main concern was the hot water radiator heating of the room in mid-November…it was downright hot! No matter how we turned the temperature control we had to toss off the bed covers and open the windows (and hear cars on the street) to cool the room down. No worries about being cold here. Another small omission is the lack of a hair shampoo in the shower - soap only. The room was nice as well as clean, and for being a historic property, a bargain for any budget-minded traveler. While we recommend staying here just be aware that older properties sometimes come with unique “personalities” and you’ll do just fine. The hotel restaurant was a bit disappointing as my steak was ordered “medium” and came out “well done” and tough. Salad bar was fine. No garlic on the garlic bread. Not the largest baked potato either. Service felt hurried and rushed at times. Just not a memorable dining experience for the price.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Wolf Hotel. I brought a group of 27 to the Wolf for dinner on a Saturday night. What a great experience!! The service as well as the food was excellent. I was so impressed with the experience that we will definitely make sure to return next year during our annual trip to Saratoga. Thank you for taking such great care of all of us. Cheers, David Moran
Cool place! My room was on the 3rd floor in the attic and I loved it. There seems to be a lot of history with the building itself. If you are into that sort of thing, I definitely recommend checking it out. There's an actually payphone in the entry that works! Check-in went smooth with a friendly staff. Clean room.
Second time eating here.Great food, nice atmosphere, and friendly staff. The prime rib is fantastic and comes with a large selection salad bar. We will return for a 3rd visit next time we are in town.
Beautiful old hotel on the corner. Hade a delightful lunch there and food was very good. Loved that they brought glasses and a larger pitcher of water with lemon to start at each table.
Great little western hotel. Worth visit, good food very casual clean comfy beds. Location central an nice change from the chain hotels.
Always a good spot for a cold beer, friendly conversation, and a terrific meal.
Really terrific local museum with Wyoming and Saratoga history galore. Highly recommend that you visit the caboose it's in unrestored condition and probably one of a kind in the world. I especially enjoyed the different old saddles and the display of
