Hotel Verdant - Hotel in Racine - 500 Main St, USA

I recently stayed at Hotel Verdant in downtown Racine, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The standout feature for me was the unexpectedly fantastic view from the rooftop bar, offering a breathtaking perspective of the city’s landscape abutting Lake Michigan—definitely a highlight of my stay. However, there were a few issues that prevented me from giving a full 5-star rating. First, it was surprising to find that there was no moisturizer provided in the room—something I’ve never encountered before at a hotel. Additionally, the sauna wasn’t working properly on my first night, and even the next day, it failed to get very hot. And no water cups in the gym was odd. Another downside was that, despite requesting room service for my entire stay, it was not provided on my last night. This lapse in service was disappointing. Lastly, the state of the parking lots, which are located a block away from the hotel, was concerning. They were poorly lit, overgrown with tall weeds, and generally not well-maintained, making them feel quite sketchy, especially with no visible security. Despite these drawbacks, I would consider staying here again given the other limited options in Racine. The view from the rooftop alone is worth it, and with a few improvements, this hotel could easily be a top contender in the area.

Had a great weekend stay at the Verdant! Staff was great - accommodating and thoughtful - it's little touches (getting the elevator when my hands were full!) that people remember. Rooms Great - wish there was a bit noise cancelling - hallways & landings were great - spacious. Location itself is a 5star - only reason it got the 4 is the noise which i know is out of your control. Lots of hot rods in Racine! Sincerely hope to visit again.

Excellent hotel. In an up and coming area but will be a great anchor once the area improves around it. Tastefully renovated older building with a rooftop bar and view of Lake Michigan. Rooms were clean with upscale furnishings. Highly recommend.

Extraordinary hotel! The decor was absolutely gorgeous, exceptional attention to detail in the rooms. We were so happy with our stay and would definitely return the next time we are in town. We didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant or rooftop bar, but we heard they were great!

A beautiful addition to Racine! My in laws live in Racine and when my husband and I visit, we unfortunately would have to stay outside of Racine (in Milwaukee or even Chicago area) due to lack of nice hotels in the Racine area. This hotel is absolutely beautiful and will now prompt us to visit more often! This is a stunning hotel with luxurious finishes and amenities! During our visit this weekend, we ate at Marguerite (EVERY dish was delicious!) along with visiting the rooftop lounge/bar. The Eave staff was very accommodating with providing mocktail options that weren’t included on their menus. Can’t wait to go back for our next visit!

We ended up staying at Hotel Verdant because the Milwaukee hotels were so expensive due to a big event in town. I'm so glad we did! The hotel is beautiful and every detail is well thought out. The service was outstanding. I wish that we had more time to explore the area around the hotel, it is in an ideal spot for this unique downtown. We will be back for sure.

We had a clean and beautiful room. The service was excellent. The rooftop terrace was a great place to sit and relax. The attached restaurant, (Marguerite), was wonderful, but there are many other options within a short walk if you're on an extended stay and want to try different things. (We especially enjoyed Vero.) I have nothing but good things to say about Hotel Verdant. I would definitely return!

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at this hotel. It exuded a very cool vibe that we loved right from the start. Our corner room offered a fantastic view from the window and was impeccably clean. The service from both the hotel and restaurant staff was excellent; they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The location was ideal, making it easy to walk around and explore. Overall, a memorable experience that exceeded our expectations.
