The Copper Room at Hotel Sutter in Sutter Creek is a hidden gem and a perfect speakeasy to visit while exploring Main Street. It’s become one of our favorite spots to stop into, whether we’re waiting for a table or just looking to relax. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, and sometimes you’re lucky enough to catch some live music, which adds to the charm. It’s a great place to unwind and enjoy a drink in a unique setting. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sutter Creek! Hotel Sutter was also a nice spot for dinner on Christmas Eve.
Really nice Hotel. The employees are very friendly. Room was nice and clean and the A/C worked great. Had dinner at the hotel restaurant good food and the service was perfect. The bar fills up early!!! The Copper is the place to go!! Speakeasy bar-big and crowed with people just having a good time. Highly recommend this hotel.
We came here for a little 1 night get away with the family. We came to the area to do the Rail Explorers in Amador County. We needed a place to stay and choose Hotel Sutter. We were delighted when we drove into town! It is the cutest town! Its like being in a Hallmark movie! The Main Street is filled with cute boutiques and restaurants, etc. The hotel was so cute inside. We did not eat anything at the hotel, but the rooms were really nice. I will say, we stayed in a room with 2 Murphy beds. Because of that, the beds were super squeaky, I thought I'd wake up the entire room every time I tossed and turned. Other than that though, it was a great stay. The beds were comfortable, the pillows were fluffy, the staff was nice and helpful. We went with my in-laws and at check-in they asked if they had any other rooms available, they let them take a look at 2 rooms and pick from them. We also went and hung out on the upper balcony at night to hang out as a family. It was just so nice and relaxing. We absolutely plan on coming back with more of the family! Thank you!
Reservations were placed several weeks in advance. I worked with Chris at the front desk, she was absolutly amazing. From making reservations, to actually checking in and getting us into our rooms, Chris was the main person there for both nights of our stay and I loved working with her. 10/10 she made us feel welcome and addressed any needs we had. This was hands down a better stay than my family and I have received from the big name brand hotels we normal stay at.
The Hotel Sutter is a staple when we visit Amador Cty. Had dinner tonight at the restaurant and Aaron was amazing. Food and service were top notch. Highlights were the whiskey burger and chocolate lava cake, both of which Aaron recommended. Will definitely be back next time we’re in town!
Came to town late and stumbled upon Hotel Sutter as we were searching for food. Brian, who was working the bar, was extraordinarily accommodating and helped keep the kitchen open to serve us and made sure we well taken care off. The food and drinks were really good and threw us off. The cocktails were complex and tasty. The food was amazing. Our only regret is not getting here 30 mins earlier so we could enjoy some more entrees.
Unexpectedly found ourselves in Sutter Creek for dinner. We walked into The Sutter Hotel to see if they could accommodate the two of us for dinner. After a short wait at the Bar we were taken to our table with are freshly made martinis. Our server was Erin. He was very friendly, helpful and responsive. Our meal from appetizers through entrees and right through desserts was delicious. It has been a long while since we have been there, but now we have reasons to return sooner. We are locals!!
Our group came here for a birthday party and Danielle was the best server we’ve ever had. This is a great restaurant, amazing food and the best atmosphere we could ask for. Thank you so much and we will be back.
