This is a very good hotel in the area. I stayed there for a full week and there is no single reason to complain. The team is very friendly and always ready to help you. Rooms are comfortable, modern, very well equipped, and kept super clean. Plenty of parking space but the hotel also offers a daily shuttle service to nearby locations. Breakfasts are quite rich and change slightly every morning; a good, fresh coffee available at all times. There are several places to eat and shop around. I highly recommend this hotel.
Hotel Strata: My Silicon Valley Home Away From Home
Let me tell you, Hotel Strata is a total game-changer. The moment I stepped in, I felt like I was checking into a luxury apartment. My room is spacious, modern, and has everything I need – from a giant TV perfect for binge-watching to a super comfy bed that guarantees sweet dreams. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile. I love starting my day with their delicious breakfast buffet and then hopping on the free shuttle to explore the city. It's the little touches like the heated bathroom floors and the high-tech amenities that make my stay truly special. If you're looking for a hotel that feels like home, Hotel Strata is it!
I'm extremely fond of Strata Hotel & all of their staff. They are so considerate in all ways -- they really think of everything and you are well taken care of. The location is perfect, the rooms are clean and upgraded, and the service is phenomenal. Thank you Strata, can't wait to stay there again!
I always like to come back to this hotel whenever I stay in Bay Area, and I had a wondeful time this time again. I usually stay here alone (mostly for business trips), but this time we visited with my family. My kids also completely loved the cosy rooms, the water server, the lovely breakfast including a choice of Asian food such as miso soup, and the location. The staff were always full of hospitality and friendly, even when the kids sometimes got too excited and became a bit noisy in the breakfast area (where we tried to keep them calm down as much as possible too). Also, something I particularly like about this hotel, that is not often mentioned in reviews (I think), is the speed of the WiFi in the rooms, and comfy chairs and desks. I really appreciate this as I often stay here for business purposes. I hope to come back again!
Here for a week long business trip at HQ and hotel strata was an absolute gem; from the cleanliness of the room, robust facilities to homely breakfast spread and complimentary shuttle services daily to nearby offices, I can now understand the reason behind all the five star reviews. The owners and staff are all super lovely and friendly, giving me a home away from home. Will definitely rebook this place for future business trips here.
This hotel is excellent. You should stay here.||No, it's not a corporate hotel, but it's nicer. ||The bones are old-school CA hotel, and the room renovations are fantastic. The rooms are attractive with more amenities that you find in other US hotels: heated bathroom floor, Japanese toilet seats (you know you love them!), tons of storage, nice decor, lovely showers, an Aeron desk chair, etc...||There is parking right in front of your room.||They have bikes.||It's easy to get to from 101 or 280.||They have a van that will take you to the usual MV/PA locations.||The breakfast is just what you need to get your day started.||And, Castro street in Mountain View is 10 minutes away with an astounding array of excellent restaurants.||I final word - the people who own and work here are fantastic. I lost a house key, and after I told them that I had looked all over the owners stopped what they were doing and went back to my room to look again. Today, they found my key in a planter by the stairway.||It's not worth looking at the other hotels nearby. You won't find a nicer place to stay.
Loved this hotel. The rooms are exceptional; every detail is well thought through. The interactions with Dilip and all the staff was outstanding, they aim to deliver customer delight. For someone who traveled extensively for 40 years, both in the US and internationally, I would rate this hotel very highly.
Hotel Strata is one of the best hotels our family has ever stayed in. It is very clean. The fixtures are modern and our King Suite was beautifully designed. This is a family owned hotel and the owner has set a wonderful company culture. The workers are friendly and very responsive to your needs. They go above and beyond the service you expect from typical corporate chain hotels. Upon check in we were given a gift bag with free high quality water bottles and comfortable slippers to use in our room. ||We will definitely stay at Hotel Strata the next time we’re in the area. ||The owner is very interested in hearing and incorporating feedback from the guests. The one thing I think can make the experience better is to have more breakfast options for people that have vegan diets. Things like Oatmeal, toast bagels, jam, and nut butters would be nice options.
Price is reasonable for the area. The rooms are clean and comfortable. 20 min walk to Mountain View main downtown.
One thing is the blinds donât shut all the way so the light from the lamps and cars outside was a bit distracting.

Stopped in to find a new houseplant and was delighted to see such a big variety in a light, airy, beautiful space. Such a beautiful place. After admiring all of the options, we asked an employee for some help picking the right plant. She had great op
