We understood the concept of this hotel and did plenty of research before we came, but it’s just not well executed. Hotel staff is not organized at all, the man called Sheldon didn’t know which rooms were ready for us- he took us to three different (apparently dirty) rooms before finding a clean one, which was not the one we booked. It also had empty shower toiletries, no working thermostat, and it actually rained inside - yes INSIDE - our room the last night we stayed. Save your money and stay anywhere else. We paid over $500 for two nights - absolutely not worth it.

Very clean, modern hotel. The rooms lack a fridge and rug but are very clean, well designed, and comfortable. It’s a little interesting to get used to not having staff on-site but the check-in and room key process is very easy if you are comfortable with using a phone. The location was very convenient and nearby to many Fort Worth sites.

Honestly I have booked a room before and it was great clean and nice but the next time I have booked a room I walked in with the door open no one inside bed wasn’t great looking and eventually got a hold of some who was there and was told to wait and about 40 minutes supposedly to clean the room and was never notified that is was ready just ended up going back and it was decent clean. Had no bathrobes and little shampoo left but honestly hopefull that next time the room can be ready on time I really did like thr rooms before. Edit- I booked a room recently and just for your information they don’t have a parking lot for the hotel it is shared between other businesses so you have to pay to park and cost on the day but I ended up getting a parking violation since I didn’t know because I have booked room before and never gotten this violation and the website never says you have to pay to park so keep in mind when booking and I also emailed them and still no response. If it says on the website I will remove this edit.

We went to a concert at Dickie's arena so wanted a place to stay the night instead of driving back to Dallas. After reading the reviews I was a bit nervous... Seems like you love it or you hate it... We actually thought it was a cool place - our room (the Chateau) was good size with floor to ceiling windows. Bed was comfy, bath/shower was roomy. Not much of a view to look at out those cool windows - but the room was cool. I will admit a couple was arguing out on their patio that could be heard... Thin walls. But all in all we would go back. We were looking forward to the Speakeasy we read about... Which is just a bar/not hidden or out of the way or any secret... It's literally the first thing you see when you walk in the front door. We read it closed at 11pm but the bartender told us they were planning to stay open until midnight (it was a Friday night) so when we left the concert we thought we would have 30 minutes or so to hang out in it... Our Uber dropped us off at 11:30pm - but when we walked in they were closing... The bartender did apologize and served us a shot - so theres that... But for a Speakeasy, hell just a hotel bar - please stay open past 11:30pm on a Friday night.! If you just want a place to chill/sleep this is perfect... If you want all the bells and whistles... This ain't it.

I am from the Fort Worth area originally, and worked as a first responder for many years in the city before leaving the state. I was back in town with my boyfriend and friend, and decided to stay in the wonderful Magnolia area to see friends and family. The convenient location of this hotel was the primary reason we chose to stay here, so that is a major plus if you can put up with everything else. (TLDR for the review: Don't do it, just stay at one of the other hotels on Rosedale.) Parking: All signs in the parking lot indicate to pay for parking ahead of time, even if you are a guest at the Hotel Revel. But in actuality, you have to go inside and get a code before putting in a credit card. My friend who offered to put her card in for parking was charged $17 for the 20 minutes that it took us to figure it out. No information was given on this in any of the booking emails I received and no information was posted concerning this at the front desk. The "extra" star above one for service is entirely for the very nice and welcoming bartender that helped us figure out the parking voucher. She was great. Accommodations: As other guests have indicated, there was an extremely unpleasant smell upon entering the lobby and elevator vestibule area. Sort of like fish in a garbage can on a hot day. The air conditioner was completely out upon our arrival in the room, and other guests in the hallway indicated that they had contacted management about it. They had also propped open the exterior balcony and fire exit doors, which, in the absence of any on-site management, was a real security concern since that made the entire hotel accessible to any non-guest from outside. I attempted to call and report the AC situation myself but the phone tree and automatic prompts proved borderline inaccessible, and I was not going to spend time I could be spending with my loved ones on the phone for hours. There was no bedding (sheets, blankets, pillows, or anything) provided for the pullout couch. My friend who slept on the couch had to steal a sheet, pillow, and blanket from the big bed. And finally, again, as other guests have said, the acoustics in this place are absolutely horrible. I don't even think the other guests were being unreasonably loud, but I heard them through ear plugs and the white noise app on my phone. My boyfriend slept fine, but he could sleep through multiple explosions and a hurricane. So, I suppose if you are a heavy sleeper, this may not be that big of a deal. Customer Service: I did respond to my reservation email about the issue with the AC, specifically, and received a response from someone named Trey with the offer of a voucher for a future night's stay. When I replied back and asked about the possibility of a partial refund instead of the value of a future full night (I would not want to stay here again unless it was a last resort), he dropped off the face of the earth and has not responded in the last two weeks. I still would appreciate a response if you're reading this, Trey. I would say you get what you pay for, but I sure as hell didn't get $277 worth of a hotel stay. Reserve at your own risk.

We would recommend this stay any day! The staff is excellent and take care of your needs! The lounge at Sugarman's is an added bonus. Size of our room was perfect to share a cocktail in!

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I stayed at the Flamingo in Vegas and thought it couldn’t get worse than that and it did. I don’t write many reviews. Nothing ever makes me want to regardless of how good or bad. I really have to be moved to. So for me to sit here currently wide awake after a whole night of no sleep hearing my neighbor cough the entire night. I can hear when his phone vibrates!! The TV doesn’t work and one of the light switches doesn’t work so I’m basically in a bright room. There is no staff but the two people I did meet were really nice and accommodating. I should have known something was up when I wasn’t able to drop my luggage off in the morning prior to check in! So basically if you have arrive or leave later which I do, you have to drag your luggage everywhere. I have never wanted a refund more in my life!! This was horrible I want to cry but mostly from exhaustion because I haven’t slept in 2 days!! Stay away!!

Was worried when read reviews but dang. This is an amazing hotel. Then man who worked bar and hotel on 4/12-4/13 when I was working was totally cool, friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. The views were great. The bar was nice and cool looking. Most people leave reviews when mad. I want everyone to know that this was awesome. I didn’t even have to checkin. They have an app you download that makes this place the best hotel ever. Didn’t have to worry about losing keys. Only downside was I wish the AC hit harder or worked better. But I stole their hallway fan and he was ok with that. Thanks a million. Will return.
