Great hotel with old world charm. Clean tastefully decorated rooms. The Carousel Bar is lively and packed at all hours. The location in the French Quarter is convenient and a pleasant stroll to the many cool shops and eateries in the area. A couple of blocks to Bourbon Street, so easy to take the obligatory peak, but located far enough away to be a safe haven when you tire of the madness. Great choice to explore NOLA.
We had such a wonderful stay here. Our room was gorgeous and each night we were offered extra towels and chocolates. The carousel bar was great but if you stay you definitely want to go up to the roof top pool and bar. It was too cold for us to swim in January but we met Earl the pool operator and he is a GEM. I can only imagine how fun he makes that place in the warmer months. The location can't be beat - we walked to everything and it's also near the street car. 10 stars out of 5!
This is a really fancy old hotel. The bar on the lobby is awesome. And the ready of the lobby is also great. The staff members that I interacted with were all great. This appears to have been a hang out for famous authors as one point and the displays are very cool. I like old hotels and this is a nice one.
This is a beautiful and elegant hotel with impeccable service and gorgeous refurnished rooms. I highly recommend the 14th floor. The carousel bar was fabulous but the true gem is breakfast at Criollo. Get the beignets and the Crab Benedict. Ask for Mrs. Kathy. She has worked there over 50 years and is the sweetest!!
Just done 4 nights stay. Roof top pool is super, enjoyed it every morning, water nice and warm, very clean. The fitness room is pretty good too. Quality of bed, and beddings are all first class. The comfort level is critical to me. This hotel looks and feels very classical and historical. The location is as good and convenient as it can get, basically close to everywhere I wanted to go, all the good restaurants and bars in French Quarter. Even the bar inside the hotel is very nicely set up. All in all, Basically nothing bad worth to say about this hotel.
The Monteleone will always hold a special place in my heart since this was our hotel the weekend of our wedding. We got an excellent group rate for our guests and they did a wonderful job treating my husband and I, as well as our family, like we were royalty. It made the weekend so special. Since then we have been back for a visit and the service is unrivaled. From the doormen to room service, everyone has been so lovely and accommodating. The rooms are a very old world feel, so if you’re okay with missing out on newer amenities, this is a great place to stay. It’s still very comfortable and clean, but just has that over the top vibe. And the beds are so comfortable! The location is great. The Quarter can be a lot, but Royal St is calm and there aren’t any attractions on this block that would draw a rowdy crowd, so it’s not loud. In fact I’ve never heard any noise at all in my two stays. It’s truly a reprieve from the Quarter. I would highly recommend this hotel and cannot wait for my next stay.
We live locally. We’ve been to the Monteleone several times now. It’s become our place of refuge in sad times and our place of celebration in the good times. We are starting to be recognized!||As always, everything was perfection. I find myself instantly relaxing when I come through the doors now. I will always be grateful to the staff of the Monteleone for making it what it is. ||When we booked, we mentioned it was my 30th birthday. There was a rose and a birthday card waiting for us in the room!||We saw Lorna, who remembered us from last time. I mentioned I’d miss my home paper delivery and I was sad I couldn’t do the crossword. Well when we ordered breakfast, there was a newspaper on our cart from her. There was even a pen and a thing of White Out!||Although we didn’t need any reservations this time, Joey made it a point to welcome us back. ||Ms. Patrick was the lovely soul who brought up our breakfast each morning. She is so kind and clearly loves her job. I felt so cared for.||Chris on the phone is so patient and I will always appreciate his willingness to answer my million questions about the menu. ||Delanie at the bar was so nice! And her cocktails so delicious- crisp and well balanced.||Nolan and King were the bookends of our trip. A warm welcome and a goodbye that felt like leaving a friend’s house.||I hope we return soon!
Amazing staff, really felt like New Orleans. Very cool hotel - old New Orleans style, restaurant was good, cool moving Carousel bar. Very clean, decent sized rooms and really comfortable beds. A special thank you to Nolan who made checking my bag and coat a delightful and personal experience.
We had such a wonderful time staying at The Inn. We were greeted by our wonderful host⦠I mean warden. Todd was great and walked us around the jail, showing us where everything was. He had great suggestions for where to eat and shop. The kitchen ha
This is the cutest hotel. Our room was a lot bigger than we initially thought it would be. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our TV the first night. We had plans to explore during the day and then go to dinner at night
The executive king room is amazing, like having our own apartment right in the heart of the French quarter. Very clean. Great hotel staff. Easy to walk everywhere. My only complaints would be the water pressure is non-existent, but I imagine with old
I cannot give this venue high enough praise. The venue is absolutely stunning and you can tell the owners care a lot about making it a great space. The staff was accommodating, helpful, gracious, and friendly.
Excellent accommodations! Though basic and simple, the rooms are spacious, clean, and sufficient. The beds are very comfortable. A NICE amenity was the over-sized fridge in each room. Thereâs a microwave in the common area also. Convenient and safe
The Olivier House Hotel stands as a beacon of history and elegance, offering guests an unforgettable journey through time in the French Quarter. From the moment you step into the grand lobby, it becomes apparent that this hotel is not merely a place
We loved everything about this place. Quirky, colorful, and historically old with tons of artwork everywhere. Lots of personality. Our room was super cute and we slept comfortably in the bed. We enjoyed hanging out on the private balcony. They are s

We enjoyed our stay a lot! Got some complimentary cupcakes in the room for my birthday. Also got upgraded to a âcity viewâ room. The hotel as a whole feel a bit âold worldâ from a decor standpoint. We typically prefer a bit more modern. But t

Great class and I definitely recommend!! Stopped in as a ClassPass user and will definitely make this a regular workout. The class size was smaller than Iâm used to at 11 but the space was very homey and accommodating. The instructor was clear and
