Hotel Miramar San Clemente - Hotel in San Clemente - 2222 S El Camino Real, USA

I loved our stay! Everything was remodeled and new and I loved all of the accommodations the room came with, perfect set up! The owners were nice and they even suggested places to visit while we were there. The hotel is close to the pier and other staple locations as well. Such a good experience.

As a preferred customer I can appreciate the renovation. My family and I have been guests since 2017. My latest stay wasn't as pleasant. The motel seems to be housing for some shady characters. The room above me was occupied by someone who seemed to be jumping around their room all night long. I was confronted one evening by what I thought to be a displaced addict. Turns out she was actually living there. I would not return. Safety is a concern.

This little gem in South San Clemente was recently renovated and boy did they do a great job. Not only is it very clean, they have a Keurig single serving for coffee, ample counter space, a large screen TV with Cox cable, Iraq for hanging your clothes including built-in hangers, a large counter with a single sink outside of the bathroom and shower area, an incredible shower with high water pressure and very hot water absolutely fantastic. The room also came with a mini fridge which included a separate freezer section and a microwave that worked exceptionally well. The air conditioning unit looks also brand new and the controller resides right by the bed. It did an extraordinarily marvelous job keeping the room free of humidity and cool. It was fairly silent running no rattles pings or any other noises you sometimes find in wall units. The beds and pillows were some of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Each bed got three pillows and they were thick, cloud-like, and luxurious. The linens and bedspread and down comforter were just thick enough for the temperature and was again an amazing bad slept like I haven't slept in quite a long time. The location is very close to restaurants and bars locally, a 7-Eleven across the street, and on and off ramps to the 5 freeway both north and south of the location. The onsite staff was also very kind and courteous and attentive, but largely left you alone. It is a small hotel with under 20 units. All facing the street. Some upstairs and some downstairs. If I was going to recommend one minor thing to management, it would be that the are giving two cups and two Keurig K-Cups for coffee but only one Splenda and one sugar. Two of each would have made this a 10 out of 10. As it stands they are as solid 9.95 out of 10 lol if you're looking for a place near San Clemente or Laguna Niguel or Dana point or going to camp Pendleton, This should be on your shopping list.

I really enjoyed my stayed at this simple hotel. Extremely impressed with the room and the staff is quite kind. Great beds and bedding, wonderful rain shower heads, and new amenities. Definitely will comeback again.

I've stayed here two times in the past few weeks now and highly recommend it. Great beds and bedding, wonderful rain shower heads, and new amenities. The AC/Heater is new and easy and fast-acting. Easy location and nice people running the place. I'll be back soon!

Positive: Nothing Negative: Toilet didn't flush; no towels in room; trouble turning on ac and the thermostat kept adjusting itself so woke up hot several times, noisy location: room above up all night so disrupted sleep all night:Would be willing to pay more for better experience

This property is located 15 minutes walk to clafia Beach on quiter side of the city very cozy place, fine interior and decent price. I had great experience staying here the service was great staff was amazing. 10 on 10.

I wanted to start out by saying I never write reviews. My boyfriend and I stayed here two nights this past week for a wedding in San Clemente. I gave two stars for the great location, free parking, and fast check in/check out. We weren’t looking for a fancy hotel, but I was disappointed and grossed out with how dirty the rooms were. When we first checked into our room, I went straight to the restroom after the long drive. When I lifted the toilet seat, the seat was absolutely covered in dried urine. I immediately called down to the front desk, and they quickly switched us rooms. In the second room we noticed long hairs on the bathroom floors and also in the bed sheets, making us concerned the sheets weren’t even washed. I think cleanliness is the bare minimum for any hotel stay, so I felt compelled to share my experience for anyone else considering this hotel and hopefully the owners will step up their cleaning efforts.
