I’m writing this before I’ve even checked out. I never leave reviews but felt like I had to. Hotel Maren exceeded my expectations! From the minute we arrived the hospitality has been incredible. Sean is so friendly and knowledgable! He offered great suggestions for dinner and activities as well as some fun facts. The room is beautifully appointed and clean! We have a view of the marina and we got to see the sun setting from bed. I wish we had booked a longer stay!!

overall, the Maren was a very nice, pleasant hotel, and definitely one of the quietest we've ever experienced. the front desk was not always staffed, you needed to call out to get their attention from the back office, which is odd in a large hotel. the valet staff is absolutely outstanding and extremely polite and quick to get your car - even at the busiest times of day! overall very good, but definitely not excellent.

Family had a great time. Location is great with the beach a few steps across the street and plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The pool was great but unfortunately we didn’t get lucky with the weather. Our room was plenty spacious for a family of four with two young ones. The staff were friendly and attentive. Would love to stay here again.

Maren Hotel has an awesome location and staff. Everyone is friendly and approachable. Chakira and DJ at the front desk were so professional and accommodating during our check in process. Rooms are well appointed, clean, and comfortable. The location is conveniently located to restaurants and Water Taxi stops. Stay here!

Stayed last weekend and had a great time. All the staff were friendly. Sean out front was particularly helpful and knowledgeable. The ocean view from the room was fabulous and the room was very clean. Beach loungers right across the street were convenient. Everything we hoped it would be. Would absolutely stay again.

We stayed on the non beach side and was pleasantly surprised with the view of downtown and sunsets. Service was exceptional, very friendly staff in all areas of hotel. Happy hour was decent. Only thing I would change is the signature drink, make as good drink or don't bother

I booked this hotel via Expedia and paid for ocean view rooms. What I have learned in the hard way is that ocean view is not an oceanfront! The rooms were in the back of the hotel with the city view and you could see a very narrow strip of ocean only from one of them after going to the balcony. Very disappointing! I asked in the front desk for upgrading but nothing was available in the price I paid. Spent over 2K for 2 nights in the 2 bedroom suite. Not worth it!

This hotel has been such a beautiful blessing for us on our Christmas vacation. It was conveniently located to many restaurants within walking distance, amazing staff from front to back of the house, beautiful rooms and views and we would come back in a heartbeat. We had an amazing experience upon arrival with someone gathering our bags, Miss DJ took great care of us at the front desk, Dave a manager chatted with us about our hometown in Texas and was so kind to us and most importantly, our experience with our bartenders Jill and Alex were SUPERB. Jill remembered our names after only a brief meet up and Alex worked a double on Christmas Day and smiled the ENTIRE TIME. He worked his tail off servicing guests and entertaining us as well. Honestly, he deserves a raise hahahaha. I hope you guys book your stay with Hotel Maren because the staff makes this place a home away from home 10/10
