This beautiful hotel is conveniently located just on the edge of the power and light district if you are looking for a night out on the town. My wife and I stayed one night in one of the king corner room and it was very spacious and well decorated with comfortable furniture to lounge in. The mini bar was stocked full of great snacks and beverages. We really enjoyed having a drink in the lobby bar before having an amazing dinner at the hotels restaurant. All together it was a most pleasant stay and would highly recommend
My fiancé and I went to this hotel a couple weeks ago to do our engagement photos. We had contacted the hotel prior and were told from a staff member we could come in and take photos. After hours of getting ready, the weekend arrived and we showed up to the hotel. Only to be told we needed a waiver and wouldn’t be allowed to take photos. ||Fast forward two weeks until this morning. My coworker just informed me of her friend who got engaged there this past weekend. That they were treated so “nicely” and regardless of a “waiver” that they were allowed to take photos of their engagement with no issues. Even mentioned there was a wedding going on and how they were just told to avoid certain areas! ||I can only imagine why this couple was treated so much better than we were??? We were told too bad so sad even after explaining our situation to the ladies at the service desk. I’m sick to my stomach this morning. But also not surprised that a white couple was treated so much better than we were. This was definitely an eye opening experience for me and is VERY telling of this hotel and how the “rules” only apply unless you’re white and blonde.
Hotel Kansas City is elegant and cool and retro all at once. The space is historic and impeccably restored. The restaurant, Town and Co, is PHENOMENAL. Best meals I’ve ever had and I go out in NYC regularly. Book the hotel and eat there - you won’t be disappointed!
LOVED staying here! It might even be my new fave downtown KC hotel. Lobby: stunning. Lobby bar: brilliant. Staff: awesome. Room: clean, stylish, comfy. Best moments: holiday decor, pumpkin spice ice cream affogatto at the lobby bar, peeking at the special event space (so gorgeous), the mustache carpet.
We went down to Kansas for the MLK long weekend and coming from the Caribbean it was extra cold for us. Every staff member we encountered whether it was the valet person, the front desk host down to the housekeeping staff was very friendly and always looking to go way above the call of duty. Hotel atmosphere was great, rooms are really clean and hotel in general is very clean and well upkept.
Hotel has restaurants and bars in the place, room was well kept and with all amenities. This place is close to a lot of places, 20 minutes away from airport. The only issue is the elevator they only have two and one was not working on 12/31 with multiple events/weddings going on that night. The wait times were about 30 minutes, no sign at the elevator to let you know that it was not working. The bride was late due to this.
The room was clean. I needed an iron. The steamer was okay but didn't quite get the job done to my liking. The food options was subpar to me. Perhaps that's because "The Classic", which is the restaurant inside the hotel that offers burger-like options was not open due to an issue with the kitchen's vent hood. The restaurant option did not have menu options that appealed to me plus they were too pricy for the meal type I was looking for. I got in on a late flight and just needed a burger or some other hot finger food option which was not available. And what is it with "Luxury Hotels" with the excessive mark up on M&M's and such. Although it was really cold outside, the walk down the hill to Yard House wasn't bad and the food there was really good and had good prices.
Nicest hotel I've ever stayed at in 48 states. Both the bar and restaurant on site were top notch and the wedding venue was also beautiful. Great staff and just sitting in the lobby soaking up the design was a pleasure.

This is the place to be in KC. My husband and I had such an amazing experience at The Truitt. We loved everything about it. We loved the unique and luxurious decor, the ease of parking, comfort of the room and how easy it was to walk to the art museu
Large well appointed room in a great location to walk to the Art Museum. Very clean easy to check-in and out and nice common areas. Very comfortable bed and temperature control was perfect. Great hot shower. Private secure parking inside the fence

The room was wonderful and the breakfast was very nice. Everyone was very good to us. It was the best place we stayed over the course of our cross country trip. We liked the way that it seemed to match up with the vibe of the downtown. Our room was v
I absolutely love staying at 44 and coming to visit my friends. Although I am an employee of BMG, had I found this community on my own, I have no doubt I would have fallen in love with the community and staff. They have the best events and the best r
First of all we love the name! Two Sugars in Kansas City is such a cute name and coffee shop. We loved our latte and conversation with the owner. Iâll definitely be back to try their matcha!
I've dropped into the 11:30am class several times. Fantastic community, coaching, and workouts. Clean showers and bathrooms. Ample equipment and parking. Everyone I met was welcoming and interactive. The community has been together for many years and
I donât know how I would have made it through my pregnancy without the classes at Full Circle Yoga KC. My older sister also went to Jenny Hellman for two of her pregnancies and when I told her I was having trouble finding good and affordable prenat
