Stay at the hotel was great Angel at the front desk was amazing, she was very helpful. Amber at the bar was great loved the pistachio martinis. The only big downfall that wrecked my night was the parking services. They called me 2 hours after I checked in to come pick up my car to move from the valet parking and on to the street. I left it on the street last night but got up this morning at 7 to go get my car because they did not know to drive a stick shift. Andre in valet was wonderful the next day he was able to accommodate me and pick up my car for me. I'm hoping to hear back about that terrible part of my stay please advise. Other than that everything was nice.

My family has stayed here a few times while visiting the area. I like the way it's decorated. The vibe is very urban and friendly. The rooms are decent sized and the beds are very comfortable. There is a beautiful bar in the lobby as well. One small drawback is that there is no on site parking. Also, as others have noted the floors can be very creaky. Also, if you're in a room along the front of the hotel, you may hear some street noise on a weekend night. Overall, still a very nice hotel and very centrally located.

The Hotel Indigo is a modern hotel in downtown Winston-Salem, walking distance to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our stay here, finding the rooms up-to-date and comfortable. The A/C system worked well – easily adjustable and not too loud, which can be an issue given how hot and humid it is in the South. The room had an annoying design, as there was insufficient clearance between the bed and the desk when in use. The front desk attendant was slow to process my check-in and, more importantly, always on her phone, a very bad look especially since there was no “front desk” to speak of – she was just out there, in a chair, on her phone. And then when we needed to valet the car during a rainstorm no one came. In sum, while the front end service was poor, the rest of the experience was fine.

Beautiful hotel with an historical feel. The lobby and my room was very clean. The only complaints I have were the scratches all on the tables and caulking in shower were coming apart. Just makes me wonder what does maintenance do? Being that my husband is a director of maintenance at an historic hotel. He pointed these things out and said this could cause for a great place to end up not being so great. Also the shower door just seems to be stuck or just needing some maintenance. Other than that, the housekeeping staff was very nice and did a great job on my stayover service

I will never stay here again. There was no valet parking last night 4/26/24 and tonight 4/27/24. The check-in parking holds 2 cars and the valet apparently used that as a place to park cars. Had to park down the street to check-in. I heard him tell several people he had no valet parking available. |I circled over 10 times last night before I found a spot on the street. It was on a street behind the hotel about a 200 yard walk to the hotel. Tonight it was probably 20 times before a spot opened up near the hotel. Almost an hour. |After finally finding a place to park I went by the bar to get a drink before I went to the room. The bartender said she was closed. It was 10:20 on a Saturday night and the bar was not supposed to be closed. She said they had been busy and decided to close early.|I went to Trader Joe’s yesterday and bought some items that needed to be refrigerated but apparently this hotel does not have refrigerators so I had to go purchase a cooler at Walmart.|The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are very nice but I won’t be staying here again.

Read the recent reviews and don’t stay here! Don’t be fooled by the ratings because this is not a 4 star hotel! This is the absolute worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. ||We had another guest have access to our room with their keycard and the front desk wouldn’t give us a switch our room keys. They did not care for our safety and still are withholding the room access record because they don’t want to admit they gave someone else access to our room ||When we checked in, both us and our family got checked into dirty rooms and had to request a room change. After our room was “cleaned” our second day there, we asked for housekeeping to give us new sheets due how dirty it was and the front desk staff member Angel said that the housekeeping staff was gone for the day and it wasn’t her job to service our room, so we had to strip our own bed and carry new bedding up to our room so we didn’t have to sleep in a dirty bed.||The last day, our room was not even cleaned and we asked for clean towels, we had the housekeeper barge into our room and threaten us. She was screaming and other hotel guests came out of their room to see what was going on because she was yelling and swearing over asking for clean towels! ||When I spoke about the disappointment, Angel did not want to do anything and served other customers in front of me. I asked for a manager because of Angel not caring to assist, I wait for a manager, Charlie for an hour and then was told her manager left for the day without being spoken with. When I asked for the manager the next day, she “didn’t remember” what time she left the previous day. We tried to give the feedback to the manager, Charlie did not care about our concerns and said that the front desk staff was their best customer service member. ||After all of this, our credit card was charged two different amounts. They charged our credit card for someone else’s room and the hotel has still not given us our money back! I even reached out to the manager, Charlie and she has not responded. ||The disappointment in the professionalism, safety and cleanness of this hotel is unacceptable. Don’t let your trip be ruined by this hotel when there are plenty of other great hotels down the street!

Amazing experience! From luxury rooms, stylish bar, well equipped gym, and awesome staff, I’m excited to be back. Pam at the front desk was especially accommodating with above and beyond service and support as I was in town for an industry conference.

This hotel is truly the worst run place I've ever stayed. From when we first got a room and tried to enter (someone was already in the room), to hearing from guests in the elevator that they entered with dirty towels on their floor, to having to call housekeeping after 3 days to empty the trash / bring toilet paper / bring towels - the stay was truly really bad. The hotel and lobby and rooms are really lovely and modern - but it is the most horribly run place I've ever experienced. I tried to get a coffee one morning and couldn't find anyone at the front desk or behind the bar/cafe area. We dropped off the car one evening and couldn't find the valet for 15 minutes. Our traveling companions got several calls one day from the valet asking why they weren't coming to get their car (and they never even called to get it picked up). The hotel gym was also disgusting - the area beneath the weights was so dusty and had tons of clumps of dirt/hair. We also were charged incorrectly for our Thursday night stay - it was corrected, but had I not asked for a printout, we never would have caught it. I'll never ever stay here or recommend this place again.
