Hotel Indigo Atlanta Airport - College Park, an IHG Hotel - Featured Reviews (1744)
My experience at your hotel was nowhere near what I would expect from a three-star property. To start with, the reason I chose the hotel was because it was close to airport and not far away from the Marta station. They did allow me to check in early. This is the only positive thing I can say about this hotel and staff. ||My initial observation on check-in was that the room was okay. Plenty of space, good bathroom facilities. On first glance the only thing wrong was that the room did not have a king-size bed as advertised. ||The next problem I saw was that there was not an ice machine on my floor. I had to go to another floor to get ice. No offer was made to move me to another room when I complained about this at the front desk. ||My first night there I was tired from traveling. I was ready to eat dinner and settle down for the night. I quickly found out there were no decent restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. There are not even any small stores close by where you can walk to for soda or beer. I asked the clerk at the front if it was possible for the courtesy van to take me to the closest shopping place where I could purchase a few things. I was told the van only went to the airport and back. I ended up just ordering a delivery pizza. Even this went sideways as I tried to get a $20 bill cashed at the front desk so I could tip the driver. I was told that the hotel did not provide that service.||The next morning, I decided to eat the breakfast buffet offered by the hotel. It was a standard breakfast buffet offering biscuits, gravy, eggs, sausage and hash browns. All for $14.00. There were only 2 or 3 other guest in there eating at 7:30 AM. I soon found out why only a few guest were eating there. The food was horrible. The problem was their sausages. They had been frozen and thawed many times over and should never have been served. They tasted old and freezer burned. The rest of the food was cooked in this sausage grease. I could not believe they were actually serving this.||I decided to speak with the manager. I informed the clerk at the front. The clerk went to get her. She was at the property but would not come out of her office to speak with me. Honestly, that was a first for me. I’ve never seen a manager of a hotel refuse to speak with a guest. I spoke with the clerk at the desk. He was resentful and argued ever point. I finally threw up my hands and left the front desk. I never spoke to anyone else there for the remainder of my stay. And no one from the hotel attempted to contact me. ||I stayed there for three nights. Maid service was almost non-existent. I did not receive any for the first two nights. For the third and last night, I noticed they came in and gave me some shampoo and new towels. No attempt was made to clean the room or to make up the bed.||Certainly, this is my last visit to this hotel and to the IGH hotel chain.
Paid over $100 dollars for a place to sleep during our 12 hour layover. They were doing construction at 11pm. The noise was so loud we could hear it with ear plugs in. Called down to the front and asked if they were doing construction. The lady was rude and said yes they will be done soon. Soon? It's 11pm. People rent these hotels by the airport usually for a few hours of sleep which we barely got. If we weren't so exhausted we would have left. Floors were sticky in the room and when you call to ask about the airport shuttle they will seem very putout.
Update: They didn't contact us. Who does construction at 1130 at night.
I got stranded at Atlanta airport and was pleasantly surprised to find myself at this hotel for several days until my outbound flight. The staff was friendly even at times I could see they were very busy. I felt welcome & safe here as a solo traveler. Its located just one stop from the airport on the Marta. They offer a shuttle service to/from the airport but its easy to walk here from the College Park Marta stop. The neighborhood is cute and safe, 15 min walk from a great grocery store and less than five minute walk from The Real Milk & Honey. Best warm honey biscuits on earth.
Positive: The location was great. The room was spacious. The common area were kept up nicely. Negative: I did not care for the nickel and diming. $--- dollars to check in two hours. $14 a day parking. $14 breakfast buffet.
Overall I enjoyed My 3 night stay. Brad at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful! The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable! However, I was not pleased with the brown/black stuff that was in the corners of the shower. It also rained alot while we were there and the tv kept going out. Other than that It was a good stay!
This hotel indigo has been let go. Floors are in tough shape. Definitely smelled musty. service so so at best. It’s an airport hotel so I really shouldn’t complain about the location, but all of the hotels in this area are fenced in for safety reasons. A little unsettling. Unloading cars we were told if it sat out there too long it ticketed and they can’t do anything about it. Business is not a business center. But a desk in the hallway. Overall I would pass on this location if you have other opportunities. If you need to stay here, it’s not the worst place I’ve ever stayed.Beds were Clean. Felt comfortable in the room. Travel safe y’all!
Was a really bad experience. I reserved and paid previously by Booking. I arrived 11am and lived the hotel 5 pm in the same day to take a fly (It is an airport hotel)The "attendant" told me that was no necesary to pay an extra charge for my early check in. Later, I received an extra charge in my Credit card. I HAD TO PAY 2 DAYS FOR ONLY 6 HOURS!!! and they refused to do the refund. I don't recomend this hotel.Hi Valued Guest,

The floors were dirty in the bedrooms, all the furniture was marked up and clearly needed replaced. Sheets had unidentified stains all over them. There was hair all over the bathroom and the shower was mouldy. The room clearly hadn't been properly cleaned in a very long time. Definitely would not stay here again. It's in a pretty sketchy area. Would not have walked around by myself outside, in the day or at night. Also u have to pay for parking each day. $14 a day.

Eden fresh is legit! It now has a hot bar, self-serve candy and nuts, and overall better selection throughout the store. Plus it was super clean with new shopping carts and baskets.
